  1. 7/10.

I like the spades icon instead of the 'A'.

That looks really good Avey. I like it a lot. You always have great ones. You do those yourself?

Thx Avey. I had it in place of the "o" in Bob at first but thought the "a" would look better. And it's for the "a"ce of spades. Lemme hear ya.

  2. That is the most far fetched, never to happen, get the hip waders on stories I've ever heard. I was on the RSI server the other day on a firefight2 map of the farm with 2 other peeps and 1 guy got knocked out before he got a kill, the other guy made it almost to the end and got 7 kills and I almost made it and got 54 kills. Each of the tangos popped me once which makes for a staggering 54 hits before I went down.

i lived after all of them wounds and its possible in Gr

P.S. Maybe I only got shot once by the 55th guy but it's a little foggy right now. I think Nighthawk was there. I forget who else. Mowe4 maybe?

  3. What the heck. It was friday the 13th and it wasn't freaky at all. Where the freak was everyone? I had to fill bodybags with nighthawk and mtoutlaw. And fill'em we did. ;)

    Seriously though. Where was everyone?

  4. Don't be lulled into a false sense of security, just because it is on the web doesn't mean it's real. Although I have no reason to dispute the quote, it does seem reasonable, and seems to be confirmed on many other sites.

I hear ya Mag. I knew it pretty much but couldn't find a satisfactory explanation to support it. Tanks!

  5. Did you have a look here.

    Also here might be helpful

U.S. military personnel are the world’s largest consumers of playing cards, according to Cincinnati-based United States Playing Card Company, the world’s largest playing card manufacturer. According to Time (May 12, 2003) the extreme popularity of the most-wanted cards prompted the distributor to reissue cards created for the military in earlier wars. During World War II “spotter decks” were produced for troops to distinguish between Allied and enemy aircraft. During the Vietnam War “decks containing only the ace of spades were passed out to U.S. troops, who would display a card on their helmets to scare away the Viet Cong — supposedly superstitious about the card, which fortune tellers considered a harbinger of suffering and death.”

    From here

It's just as I though but I wanted to see it in print. You are a fountain of useful information. :notworthy:

  6. I've found some info stating that it was sometimes left on the viet cong victims to scare their fellow soldiers and I also know that it was worn in the american soldiers helmet (I think as good luck). But it is the card of death I believe. Anyone know a little more? I just can't find too much online about why they really wore it in their helmets. I assume it was good luck.

  7. Is there a typo in your sig JayBee? Do you do all the sigs for your guys? They rock!! Awesome work.

Typo? Where? English isn't my main language but my dictionary says it's ok and no one has evere pointed out any typos on that sig before. Can you tell me what kind of typo you mean?

Where are you from? I think the plural "dares' should be "dare" but I've been known to be wrong even though english is my 1st language. P.S. I just looked at red-sector site and see guest stats. How do I get mine going? Is that people that you specially invite to play at certain times? I play on there a lot.

  8. 1,4,7. too many choices. get rid of the rest and look at those 3 alone. then rework if neccessary and repost. what do i know? i've only been working in design and advertising for a decade.

  9. May as well not rate if it's only a number system if ya ask me. (which you didn't of course). I like the composition of both your sigs but I think the new one is cooler looking with the "pull back" shot of the jungle in there. Creepier battle feel is cool.
