  1. A friend and I both recently downloaded and instaled the November Rain mod. He had no problems, but when I select game type "mission", the maps aren't on the list. The mod appears to have installed correctly, and the missions are in the correct folders within /origmis. Any thoughts?

  2. the term "on the wagon" referring to not drinking, dates back to the incarnation of jazz down in new orleans around 1890-1917. guys would play all week and wouldn't get paid til they finished their saturday night gig (early sunday morning) to ensure they'd show up all week. they had big dances on monday nights all around town at different dance halls and the only way to effectively advertise and get a crowd where your band was playing was to load everyone up on a wagon on sunday afternoon and roll around town playing music with a sign on the wagon to advertise where you'd be. the guys that were smart enough not to go out and gamble and get drunk right when they got paid were usually the ones that made it on the wagon to play that day. the others were pretty much face down in the gutter having spent all their money on booze women and gambling. so if you were on the wagon you were most likely sober.

  3. well i guess there is quite a difference as described up above. what it boiled down to was me and sgt. rock with silenced pistols experimenting with how many shots it takes to kill each other. quite a few indeed! you can take a few to the brainpan alone with the helmet on. i had him lay down while i went to work on him, slowly and methodically injuring every inch of his body. his whole body was red and he was still alive! then we were doing some long range target practice on each other. lot of fun for a break.
