  1. I havent test it (And I never will), When I camouflage myself, - Summertime, I will not wear anything which contains white. - Wintertime, I will not wear anything which contains green or brown I am quite picky on these things since being more than grunt, I prefer extremely good blending to environment. Trust me, white is bad.
  2. As a camouflage that is not going to work in real life. The photos seem to be very well done just to advertise the product, the product itself is not going to conceal you. Right camouflage color and paint for right enviroment.
  3. There is no need to peek for snipers really. The whole concept of sniper is totally different than just peeking. In Ghost Recon, I use peeking, but Ive also noticed enemy can kill you even if you would not even peek. Just go near corner and before you even start to peek, you can be dead allready.
  4. Well, maybe its just me, but I dont see anything special in Half Life. Just another shooter.
  5. Excause my english, but here goes : Actually, not to reply to main topic, but I would have to say that take at look of those replays what people make, so called "GR Movies", they really are just playing around and running and tossing grenades etc, like a playfield. I am playing the game probably the closest what it is ment to be played, move groups in positions, choosing carefully the most strategically important place to sniper to provide support for advacing team(s), clearing whole map sector by sector, not leaving any space for enemies to go around and flank my rear, carefully choosing weapons and equipment : Alpha goes urban : grenades and fast aiming weapons, Bravo picks up hostage and keeps low signature : silenced weapons I mean, when looking at those movies, something is clearly missing from the whole game. At least I cant help feeling like this. *Its not an arcade*
  6. Hello, Tought to share my problem which took place yesterday while playing GR. I play with Sixpenses Navy Seal 1.2 MOD. I was controlling two man recce patrol in BRAVO team ( ), with Specialist with an M-14 rifle in lead and I was his backup, however I was the one leading the squad since I was the "player". We creep up on enemy and we were both laying prone seeing clearly enemy. I gave "ASSAULT" command from MAP for BRAVO team, but this specialists did not open fire as I expect him to do ? I took him in control but the backup guy (who I was before) did not open fire either. Only after I jump frustratedly to group A to play with A, then bravo started to take enemies out. What I am doing wrong? should I somehow take account who I am controlling in squad, pointman or rearguard or who before I can give command which will be taken account ?
  7. Didnt really read thread compleltey, but something catch my attention : "No Recon Mode" Dont tell me there is no Recon ROE in Ghost Recon 2 ? Thats the whole soul and heart of the game, at least to me.
  8. Good idea. At least I have had urge many times to get a readymade camouflage pattern for face, but its bit hard to do one on top of readymade face. I Rather would like someone to contribute camouflage pattern which I can paste on top of the original face picture and then just fade it a bit to get original face visible from the background.
  9. Thanks, that seemed to work. I played until 2nd mission and get to choose specialist "Red" also. Strangely enough, 1.2 was just original 1.0 + 1.1 ? 1.2 worked on me.
  10. Sixpence, Some critical error in Navy Seals MOD ? I got Navy Seal MOD, and DS and IT installed, GR updated to 1.4, plus Navy Seals 1.1 update, but I cannot play past 1st Original Mission, or after I complete the mission, and prepare for 2nd mission, just before choosing soldiers for 2nd mission, the game falls to the desktop by error, and it will NOT start again unless I unistall everything, delete the directory, and reinstall everything. I bet it got something to do with specialists, I believe in 2nd mission the first original specialist will unlock and that cause critical error with actual Navy Seals specialists ? Is there way to deactivate MOD outside the game?

  12. I have usually dealt combat situations in GR bit further away, probably in game distances about 100meters away. Just position my groups around the target in recon mode, give them stop-command (prone) and after this order them to attack. Thats the time when enemies start to fall down like leaves from quite a distance.
  13. Theres some serious issues with your signature, what, "feminity" ?
  14. Sixpence, (I know you as a modder allready ) Your Navy Seals MOD was exactly what I was looking for, this is definetly worth to download! The Characters look exactly how I would have done them instead of regular Ghosts in [Ghost Recon], and its nice idea to put specialists from movie Tears Of The Sun, altough I am not keen on Bruce Willis I had some problems with specialist called Red, even I installed patch 1.1, game will crash as soon as I choose Red. Otherwise, marvellous piece of work, specially you paid alot of attention to details, all the way from wrapped up boonie-hats to the bagpacks and microphones. I had some problems first with faces, some of faces appear in blank white template, but as I read from readme, it seemed that I need Desert Siege installed. As soon as I installed DS, it was all ok. Btw, where is desert uniforms for Seals? How I can choose them for singeplayer DS campaign ? One more thing, I noticed reticules seemed extremely big, which is just ok to me, I can survive with those, but I also found out that I couldnt zoom anymore with even standard weapons, is this ment to be like this? Extremely well done anyways.
  15. Hello, Firstly, I would like to drop disicussion allready at this point of "multiplayer skins" because I dont want them. To the point : IS there such MODs that it actually changes or let players to choose uniforms for operatives for singleplayer campaign? For example, If I would like to load different uniform for GR : Desert Storm, lets say make all operatives in Desert Storm to use Navy Seal uniforms (Boonie desert hats etc) ? If this is possible, how the uniforms can be changed, can they be changed in weapon selection screen just like weapons or how the uniform choosing method will work ? Ive tried many mods, all of them boasts with huge amount of skins (some even 50 different) but seems that they are all for multiplayer and everytime singleplayer uniforms are still the same. Any help would be appreciated.
