  1. The whole "oh well I dont like kiddies on my comms so I dont want public voip" thing is absurd. You plan on sacrificing the entire gaming experience because you don't want a kid talking in your ear? Well, theres a thing called MUTE, and you can use it to mute selective people!

I think the whole idea of private TS servers and vent servers is elitist. Many people who are great players just don't want to be bothered with jotting down server info on a sheet of paper and alt-tabbing to start up a third party program to join a random ###### server everytime he wants to have a good tactical experience.

  2. You guys ever hear of Roger Wilco or Team Speak or...

(yep Ventrilo Could not remember the name)

Yeeeeah... Like everyone joining a public RvA server will all have vent or TS and will be willing to join the server by putting in the server address and the port and password. Huge pain in the ######

Without ingame VOIP, it's impossible to be tactical when your pubbing. The only real tactical games I play are with people I already know. We are on ventrilo together so we can communicate. Most people shy out or just leave when asked to join ventrilo or TS.

  3. As of now, the only way to take out the havoc realistically is with a Zeus. I did take it down with a rifle but that took me more than 20 magazines of ammo and around 10 quickloads. It was perfect in Graw1, where you had to take out the choppers in Ready for bear after you exited the tunnels. Around 3-4 mags per chopper and it went down.

The way it is now, you HAVE to have a zeus on chopper missions or you're pretty much screwed. If you don't memorize which missions have a chopper, you're in trouble. I don't like to carry the Zeus around every single mission so I don't want to start from the beginning of a mission to change my loadout just because there's a chopper in the mission. I mean, comon, that mission where the rebel commander escapes on a havoc.. ######. I didnt have a zeus. How was I suppose to know?

I want a realistic alternative to kill the damn choppers! I think the zeus is a big gameplay restraint.

  4. It seems like everywhere I go related to GRAW2, there is some post complaining about how bad the friendly and enemy AI is. Seriously, I don't understand what they are talking about.

The friendly ghosts cover me well, do what I tell'em to do, pathfind like a charm and give me helpful verbal notices n ow and then. The enemy AI is great at trying to kill me, using covering fire to pin me and flank me. The AI is quite lifelike in my opinion. I mean, how more real is it going to get?

I have never had a case where like people say, a ghost takes fire and just sits there getting shot at. He 100% turns around and lights the guy up, and marks him with a red blip so I can help him out. The pathfinding is great even through narrow alleyways and tight winding roads in the mountains. The recon mode works flawlessly, and I can set up great ambushes without the AI being detected prematurely. The new cover command also works fine, and is useful when laying down covering fire.

As for the enemy AI, I think the problem is that they are TOO smart. They can turn on a dime and locate you from 300 feet away. They flank your team and can shoot pretty damn well from far away.

I ask again, why do you think the AI is so bad in this game? I've ha d a few of the act funny now and then but still, what game has perfect AI? I think GRAW2 gets it as close as it can.

  5. I agree. The M99 needs to be nerfed in some way. Don't take away the damage, but make it harder to aim. Maybe longer time to bring it up to your eye or some scope sway when you are standing to encourage crouching when shooting. It's be great if you had to prone when y ou shoot, but with he horrible prone detection in this game, we cant really do that practically.

  6. The m14 with a scope has a rail. You might be able to use that!

    Problems I noticed

    1. Acog has same magnification as the aimpoint (acogs are 4x, aimpoints are 1x)

    2. mk23 suppressed has the same sound as unsuppressed

    3. The mod changes the scar-l's sound. Dunno if it was intentional, but I liked the default.

    4. Can't get into multiplayer with mod installed.

    Suggestions

Would it be able to add reflections in the scope lens? As of now they are just greyish black and look quite bland
