  1. I did check the alpha-channel, but when I save it the RSB is half it's original size (from 1MB to 500KB).

    Each time a paste my shot over an existing it creates a layer. Before saving I make 1 layer of all layers so I got 1 alpha-channel, 1 rgb-channel and 1 layer.

    I did check the alpha-blending also.

    The RSB shows white/yellow boxes where the icons should be.

    I've tried the DS and IT plug-in.

    Both plug-ins can't save 36bit channels, only 24bit. Wolfsong mentioned that it's important to save in 36bit.

  2. - m09_swamp_shots.rsb - The pictures shown in Quick-Menu and Load-Screen.

    in .mis file :

    <Shell>

    <MapShots>m09_swamp_shots.rsb</MapShots>

    </shell>

    - m09_brfg-box.rsb - The pictures shown in briefing.

    in .mis file :

    <Engine>

    <BriefingCycleImage>m09_brfg-box.rsb</BriefingCycleImage>

    </Engine>

    If you open the RSB in PS (need RSB-plug-in from DS/IT CD) you can paste a picture over the original.

    Need to save the RSB with Alpha-channel. This is for the icons on the command-map.

    I've been busy with this also, but I haven't managed to copy the Alpha-channel.

    Look in the topic How To Make A Command Map.

    If you are more lucky then I am, please post your fix too !

  3. 'IMO you should Save as much and LOAD as little as possible. '

    I save also, after I cleared an area or completed an objective.

    But not after each kill.

    Then it takes the pressure away, and the focus.

    And another thing why not to save in SP : in my missions all trigger-plans are gone after a save, so don't save :D

  4. On the Airbase map (original GR, can you remember ?), there's that fence around the base.

    At the north (were you spawn in MP) I managed to get at the other side of the fence ! (accidentaly)

    Cooool, more map-space !!! It looked like a real big space, but it wasn't that much.

    I thought I could escape from duty : see ya suckers !!! j/k

    I had to find the glitch-entrance to get back in game.

    But some ###### shot me through fence. :angry: hehe

    I look at the map and see what my buddies are doing, so I adapt to that.

    I don't use teamspeak (not yet).

    If I see a message like you described, I still have to look at the map, to know who said it (where he is), and what possibilities you have.

    Unless we work like a team and stay close to each other, so I can see whats up.

  6. Take cover, that's the first thing I do.

    Then scan the area.

    Move to next cover.

    If you detect an enemy, don't shoot him right away, see if he's part of a patrol-team or not.

    Now you know how many there are, so put your teams in position (on recon) untill they got a visual on them. Once in position put them on suppress and start killing them.

    Prepare for other closeby patrols to come towards you, once you killed someone they could be alerted.

    Use 3 teams, so 2 teams can cover/flank, and 1 team does the front-assault.
