I did check the alpha-channel, but when I save it the RSB is half it's original size (from 1MB to 500KB). Each time a paste my shot over an existing it creates a layer. Before saving I make 1 layer of all layers so I got 1 alpha-channel, 1 rgb-channel and 1 layer. I did check the alpha-blending also. The RSB shows white/yellow boxes where the icons should be. I've tried the DS and IT plug-in. Both plug-ins can't save 36bit channels, only 24bit. Wolfsong mentioned that it's important to save in 36bit.

Need to save the RSB with Alpha-channel. This is for the icons on the command-map. I've been busy with this also, but I haven't m

Removing the Gun Shot Noise from an Actor Death
San replied to Carnivorous's topic in GR - Mission Modding
'I've been using "killactor' Ofcourse, I think I was somewhere else with my mind, somewhere nice... -
'IMO you should Save as much and LOAD as little as possible. ' I save also, after I cleared an area or completed an objective. But not after each kill. Then it takes the pressure away, and the focus. And another thing why not to save in SP : in my missions all trigger-plans are gone after a save, so don't save

I wish I could, but im a simple Igor-user ! But I was thinking... there is a camera-mod, why not a binocs-mod ? But to get the AI to look with it, I don't know.

Ah... too bad, I always love more maps

On the Airbase map (original GR, can you remember ?), there's that fence around the base. At the north (were you spawn in MP) I managed to get at the other side of the fence ! (accidentaly) Cooool, more map-space !!! It looked like a real big space, but it wasn't that much. I thought I could escape from duty : see ya suckers !!! j/k I had to find the glitch-entrance to get back in game. But some ###### shot me through fence. hehe

SP - Don't save, don't use TI. MP - Use teamwork, watch the time.

I didn't know the Xbox-maps are different from the PC-maps. How much different ?

Removing the Gun Shot Noise from an Actor Death
San replied to Carnivorous's topic in GR - Mission Modding
Did you use the command DeathActor ? -
What about surveillance-cameras, or alarm-sensors ? Excellent for stealth missions. Maybe not really GR-style, but more those indoor-game-styles. But it sure changes the tactic.

In game commands/ Ya dig what Im layin down?

0 MAP 1 MAP 2 MAP 3 MAP 4 MAP 5 MAP 6 MAP 7 MAP 8 MAP 9 MAP I look at the map and see what my buddies are doing, so I adapt to that. I don't use teamspeak (not yet). If I see a message like you described, I still have to look at the map, to know who said it (where he is), and what possibilities you have. Unless we work like a team and stay close to each other, so I can see whats up. -
I use it for: - spot enemies - know where teammates are - see important strategic areas of map. - move teams (only if it's safe) - set ROE's (don't need map really) If a team needs to move far, I rather do it myself, then let the AI do it !

Leadership-points will divide the points to teammembers for the other skills. Don't know about more then 8 points. Maybe there are negative points too, but hey... the 8 points are enough for a good soldier, and 1 point is enough for a civilian. So I don't need more/less points.

There are some topics related to music. Look and you will find.

how do the "auto message" thing
San replied to ragodamdiculus's topic in GR (PC) - General Discussion
Not sure but do you mean multiplayer-messages ? -
Take cover, that's the first thing I do. Then scan the area. Move to next cover. If you detect an enemy, don't shoot him right away, see if he's part of a patrol-team or not. Now you know how many there are, so put your teams in position (on recon) untill they got a visual on them. Once in position put them on suppress and start killing them. Prepare for other closeby patrols to come towards you, once you killed someone they could be alerted. Use 3 teams, so 2 teams can cover/flank, and 1 team does the front-assault. Gl

This is a tough one, Jack57 ! You can let the AI use AT and such to destroy something, but letting the AI use binocs to see further ? I don't know if that's supported in the game. But what do I know ? Maybe make an attachment for the head with the binocs...

You can prone or hide mostly everywhere, without glitching. But those places where you glitch, it's not fair to not-get-hit why you should. It is cheating ! But not everyone knows, so it's good to ask
