I f you're system-resources can't handle the map/mission, decrease detail-levels, or lower resolution, or put off dead bodies and max bullet-holes. Also try refreshing memory after a couple of missions (or after one, in your case). The Dam is a large map. I read somewhere (here or The Platoon) there are registry-tweaks. They optimize your cable/DSL registry-settings. Didn't try it yet, but gonna.

Yeah want tactics goto the Tactical Gamer servers. They have a mod (which is BIG), and play on a couple of servers. They insist you use Teamspeak so they can communicate with ya and so they don't have to type it all. Just sign up to TG and you'll get a PW by mail, so you can join a server. You need to be serious though, else you wont get a PW.

If the mod need other mods activated you can tell what mod by looking at the .atr files, .kit files and .mis files. .atr files maybe use actor-model-files from other mods. .kit files maybe use weapons from other mods. .mis files maybe use maps from other mods.

The mods who need IT, need files from IT. Also IT is patched to 1.3.something. Those mods need that patch too.

I haven't installed TS yet, I will I will, hehe. But I'm not ignoring team-messages: if a teamie calls for backup, I will try to get there. Also I check the command-map frequently to see if a teamie dies and if I need to fill the gap he made.

why the complicated names for guns in g.r.?

I think most of the gun-names are real. People who make weapon-mods are well known with real-life weapons. Some even have experience with some of them. As for the wepaon-details there ain't much room to place them on kit-icon. -
Goto The Platoon forums, as he hangs out there alot. If I can remeber he will finish it, but when I don't know. Maybe he needs a little encouragement.

Yo Goose9668, I know the Omaha-map, you mentioned maps from Holland, and even the city Arnhem (bombed during WW2). I would love to see a map from Holland (cause I live there). You have made these maps, or they're original ones (retextured) ? On one hand I'm happy our country got involved in a war, so there's a little history, on the other hand we had to surrender to the Germans and lost lots of lives.

One good map-pack that I know of is : TPC-Map-Pack. It includes : - De Dust - Crypt - Aztec - Stalkyard - Park - Market (Morning/Night) - SAF Killhouse - Shadow Valley - Shallow Creek - The Dam Only noone plays it online, hehe Then you got HX4, which has : De Dust, and some retextured maps. Swift Hatchet (from BattleBorn) is a good map too. Industrial, nice. Carribean Missile Crisis has a good (large map) too. Sorry if I forgot one -EDIT: I knew I would forget something : Swedish Force (Wolfsong) has nice retextured snow-maps !

They must fix this in GR2, cause it's really bad. I rather have more stupid AI then maps with errors (glitches). Maybe (for now) make some effects (fire+damage) on those places that glitch. So nobody wants to be there. Still can shoot through them, so doesn't matter much. Bla Bla Bla

Only AI can enter, so you give a path to Bravo (while being Alpha) to the vehicle. Have to set MROE at all costs, and CROE on suppress.

Rifleman skin to Sniper (ghillie suit) mod

Why replacing guillie-model for rifleman-model ? Just give the sniper a rifleman's-rifle. (lol) -
I know there are files for the fonts. There's this mod that fixes the blurry-text if you have a Voodoo 3 video-card. It replaces the font by another.

I did it like this : First goto the officer. He's near the house in the middle of the map, unarmed. Do this without killing anyone. Then once he's safe, eliminate the rest.

I like the command-maps where you can see through.
