  1. Played a couple yesterday on Aplha Squad server... VERY GOOD ! The first 10 sec you clear the insertion zone. You don't shoot after the 10 sec (stealth). You can shoot with SD but even then if you alert other enemies they will fire a grenade straight at you (100% death !). We never came far, because every time someone joined he/she began shooting. Once everyone knows, we can get to extraction and then the shooting begins (I think). If a teamie dies mission fails, so teamwork is the key.   2. For a flag you need to make a tag for it with a name, just like counters, and platoonref etc.
  3. What spawn points ? Your's or the enemy's ? Map Points 0-35 : enemies : recon/firefight/MP solo Assault Platoon 0a-c, 1a-c, 2a-c : enemies : defend Team Respawn 0a-c, 1a-c, 2a-c, 3a-c : you Check Basic_Igor_Guide.txt (at the end), all explained there what zone does what ! BTW map-properties set the name for the map (in gametypes), mission-properties set the name for a mission (in quick-missions).
  4. It's a very early picture, but I can see a little fishing-town already ! Maybe make a market in the centre of the town, where they sell the fish.
  5. I have a Blackhawk at 25m height and I want him to go to next path-point which has a height of 50m. Now what happens is first the BH changes altitude to 50m then follows path. Can't it follow a path and increase altitude at the same time ?
  6. FilePlanet says it has it : desert_caves.zip or something, but when DLed you get a tiny zip file (64kb or something) with a screenshot in it from another game !!! Why don't they remove the link ?

  8. I have a captive actor who's in panic-mode (hands up). I can't hide the yellow icon from map once he's teleported (with MapHideObject). Once he's in panic-mode you can do nothing with him anymore : can't get him out of panic-mode, or out of captive behaviour. I can only teleport him (hiding crashes, if you see it happen, else np). But then you see the yellow icon somewhere else.
  9. Jack57 is right, could be from anywhere, and maybe it's now in gr.net. TY jk Or maybe in one of the mods, but I DL/ed most of them and got Norton AV 2003, and never heard a thing.
  10. I like stealth missions more than kill em all missions. The objective to kill em all I don't like, it also keeps you looking for the last tango on the map. I like it when you reached extraction, no matter what objective is completed/failed, the mission ends (because you extract). Then if you completed all objectives the mission is succesfull else you failed the mission. Also half-stealth - half non-stealth is nice too, like get into position without being seen, then do something, and then break the stealth.
  11. I like missions with realistic objectives. You'll need teamwork to get it done, running around with one man will get you nowhere. Stealth-missions are nice too. Some random elements can make it replayable. The original woodland-maps I think are the best. Some custom-made maps get really close to that. Battleborne's Ossetian Woodlands for example. I don't have much knowledge about weapons and uniforms, but they look nice too !

  13. Very nice map ! About moving clouds : maybe make dark clouds coming over and the map gets darker and it starts raining and wind is blowing, then thunder...
  14. Why would you make a part of the map inaccessable ? Too much lag if you don't ? And if I want to script a mission on the map, will it be totally accessable ? GL with the map !
  15. Still looking forward Stalker_Zero. What about a campaing with missions for all the included maps ? Make it simple, just use the missions that are already made, and place them in the campaign. Already had that idea ? Never mind.
  16. Try AlphaSquad server #2. (do a search for IP/pw) Everyday about 9 people online. COOP only. Chavez missions, and others. Teamplay. Need Teampeak 2. GR.net had a COOP-server too, but is offline the last days. Before COOP I was running around on ASE, OK I learned some things (shoot before you think, spawnpoints !) but everyone is runing on it's own. Forget about teamplay (except for SAR missions sometimes, or it just looks like teamplay ) The max time is 10 minutes ! (some set it on 5 !), and all resistance is dead by then.   17. Swedish Forces mod whas the first with snow-maps/skins and snow-taped-weapons ! I was interested right away (for the maps mostly !). I still need to make missions on those. Great job Wolfsong, especially the game-balance/realism. One question, now that you're still busy with the mod, do you have a snow-retextured Wilderness map (also DS right ?). I would love to see that. And if you have it but not released, give me a link please ! I tried retexturing Wilderness to an autumn-map, make everything brown/yellow. But I need alot to learn when it comes to textures ! How do you change
  18. Maybe it's because the tent is small, so it doesn't reduce much performance if it's together with the outdoor-room(_1).
  19. First question : not sure but you mean copying from one mis-file to another ? Then you have to do that in notepad. Change mis-file to txt-format. Select items to be copied. Paste it in the other mis-file. With copying zones I had a problem recently. If you already have a mission insertion zone, and you copy all zones together you can have 2 mission insertion zones, and you can't delete one of them because they will both dissapear. And if you try to make a dummy one, and then delete them and rename the dummy, it'll crash (Script-editor-crash !). You can't copy in Igor, but maybe wh

  21. @Chavez, yes nice mines. I know (seen them from close, and felt them too !) Are they random placed ? If not then I know where no to go on Farm Infiltration (at least to get the pilot).
