  1. You're right: balance is the way. So you can make good soldiers and bad ones, so the average is balanced ! j/k
  2. I think you need to make a roomlist.txt or something and put rooms and shermanlevels in there. But better wait for an expert's advise
  3. Wow, those trees. They're so good ! I love them ! Also gives me the idea it looks like an IT map, with the fog and lighting. I say this is the best custom made map I've seen ! Masterwork ! But I have to test it (make a mission) to be sure tho Great job, can't wait...
  4. I noticed something when creating a mission. Without settings is for infinite effects ("smoke_large_type1" for example). But after 20-30 minutes it still disappeared. I had to make a loop for it to continue.
  5. Maybe make the enemy tougher instead of making more !
  6. Quality is better then quantity !
  7. Don't know, but you could override the files you need. Make a mod for jungle, one for forest, one for night. Put all the files in there and it should override the default ones.
  8. Random team-spawns : Group Default - Startup : CounterSet randominteger between 1 and 4 RedirectIf counter = 1 to group random 1 RedirectIf counter = 2 to group random 2 etc. Group random 1 - Call : teleport platoon to base 0 Group random 2 - Call : teleport platoon to base 1 etc. Look at my gametype Regroup, I have random insertion zones for teams.
  9. There a rain-tag in a MIS file you can set. Also a weather-tag. Or use the map-editor in Igor.
  10. Yes another one. San's SP Regroup: - Objectives: 1. Regroup at Central Area 2. Reach EZ - Recruit: 30 enemies, Veteran: 50 enemies, Elite: 80 enemies - Player's platoon is split into teams - Random insertion/extraction zones - Tougher opposing force - EZ is shown when objective 1 is completed - Mission failure: if all players have been killed - Mission completion: if players(alive) reached the Central Area and then EZ. San's COOP Regroup: for multiplay. Download here
  11. You're right actorref is an object, teamref not. Now it's selectable. TY It's only more work
  12. I want the alpha-, bravo- and charlie-teams to be teleported to different bases (base 0-3) at startup. I have them looped to have a teamref for each of them. But with TeleportObject I still can't select them. And I tried to assign the teamref's a platoonref and then teleport each with TeleportPlatoonToZone, but then all the teams get teleported to the same base. (I used GetBase and used 0-3 numbers for the bases). Anyone knows how ?
  13. Isn't that because assault platoons attacks the SP/COOP base, where you're inserted in defend gametype ?
  14. Try alphasquad servers, it's just like that. BTW where's 'our' GR.net server, haven't seen it active in a month or so. Is the IP changed ?
  15. hehe Reminds me of my school-days : our school was on fire (burned to the ground !, no I didn't lit it !) So we think ha holiday, but it happend in the holidays and was build up before the end of the holidays, so not even an extra day free. But a new building.
  16. GL Shiver, do you still have the tree-tutorial on your site ? Don't throw it away man !
  17. Spotting distance is set in the ENV file.
  18. The problem is with changing spotting distance : it changes for all enemies. So an enemy with an AK47 can see as far as a sniper.
  19. never seen it before, gonna try it out. The scale-tags scale the actor. Be careful not to scale too much, else the helper points won't work properly. Anyone know all the ATR tags, besides the normal ones ?
  20. How's the new map ? I'll look for myself
  21. Nice pic with the 3 choppers !

    A Idea

Every mod has a folder where all files are in. Put that folder into the Mods-folder. I that folder there are other folders for missions/maps/weapons etc. also theres a modscont.txt file. In that text file there's the mod-name that will be visible in the mods-activation menu. Look at other mods how the folders and files are placed. So how do you install my mod ? It's a zip file. Unzip it to the Mods folder. Done. Activate it (with highest priority (bottom). Play. If you have a single MIS-file (mission) you can also put it in the mission folder of Origmiss, or MP1/MP2 (if it's on a D
