You have a mod where the retextured maps+missions are in. The MAP-files have the same name as the original ones so they override them. The MIS-files link to the ENV-files and they link to the MAP-files. Your mod has the highest priority. To create/change the gametype-zones read the Basic_Igor_Guide.txt.

I think all RSE files are free to use if you own Ghost Recon (and use it for GR). I think this because people used textures from DS/IT for their maps and included the textures, so you can run the map without DS/IT. That would be the same for your situation: using weapons/characters from DS/IT in a mission. Also entire (original) missions are copied into mods, nobody complaining about that either. But it wouldn't be right if you copied all DS/IT files in your mod. That would make it another (stolen) expansion pack. Just my opinion, don't get me wrong I don't do this (I have both

You could make a couple of defence-stations or patrol-zones, and let all the enemies patrol random on the whole map. Put an insertion-zone for the player to insert, and you got a little firefight. Put a extraction-zone, so you can end the mission (when you're tired !) or use a DeathCompany-trigger so it end when there are no enemies left. Another idea is to override the original opposing_force with your characters, and then you can play all gametypes (on all maps) with your characters. This would be the easiest way. Great map-idea ! I think it's harder to make a night-map then a day-map, because you can't see anything when making a night-map ! Don't forget to use the lighting-tool, and make a command map. A map without these isn't a map ! GL

Sorry guys, I found it after reading more topics on the MYTOAN Sniper map-search. There's a fix for it, gonna check if it works also !

Very nice map. Anybody know if there's a command-map that has the offset right ? In the ENV-file it's set at -200 for X and Y, but with that setting the icons on the command-map are not at the right places. I tried -195 to -205 for X and Y, and nothing worked right.

@ leksis Do you have set the unit-setup as metric ? So it uses meters ? It's in Mike Schell's tut. (level_builder.pdf probably too)

I don't see that as a problem, I see it as a chalange. Before I did the same, as soon as someone died (or even got wounded) I would reload the mission and start over. Now I don't save anymore (like no respawns), and if a soldiers dies, ohwell, I still need to get to extraction, at least with one soldier ! Much more fun ! Eventually you'll get better this way !

If the map has a desertmap-tag they're Africans, with junglemap-tag they are Cubans, without tag they're Russians. So simple.

I've seen an ingame screenshot of a camel from someone's website. Don't know if it moves ! But it had a pic of it as if it felt down.

Plan : Add Zone Add Zone Add Zone Add Zone Patrol It's the same way as a gtf works with spawned patrol force (I think). You see them walking from MapPoint to MapPoint. The Zones can be just points (don't need to expand them) I think.

Does GR have an end/limit ? I will look into a toe file and see what I understand and think is usefull.

I know, but they should have their effect-settings on low I think, so if they still have performance problems, what more can I do ? Yeah remove the effects, but then I have no fun in making missions. So I make missions for people with average to good machines, sorry low-end users ! They can always remove the effects in script ! BTW I don't use much effects.

Yes, and if the leader has leadership-points he will give some to teammembers, right ?
