  1. Some maps from 10mmAUTO aren't tagged properly : AI doesn't follow you over a bridge across a river for example.

    They are beautiful looking maps alright, but if they don't work right, they're not top quality IMO.

    Too bad, and what about Carribean Missile Crisis, what a (big) nice map, but it hasn't got a command-map, so it's useless for making/playing a mission. Sometimes I run it just to see it again !

    If they sent us the max-files... !

  2. In gametypes (firefight/recon) the enemies spawn in the Map Points 00-35 (also in the zones-list in Igor).

    You can move them to where you like.

    Also the insertion/extraction are called Recon Insertion/Extraction.

    For team-based gametypes the teams spawn in the TR0a-TR3c bases.

    I hope they don't make an-adventure-kind-of-mod, you know, with riddles in the mission. I hate it when you standing infront of 2 doors, and you have to answer a question to get through the right door. Not that I'm stupid, but it's not the right game (for me)!

  4. Lexsis, try to learn the basic stuff of max first.

    What I did is read the help section in max. It's huge, and got all basics covered. Like creating shapes, apply modifiers to it, applying textures, etc.

    After that you can read/understand a specific GR-tutorial much better, also the tips Deleyt gives us !

  5. The only mods I've seen online are (besides the stolen ones) :

    - Frostbite

    - HX 4/5

    - TG mod

    That's on ASE.

    On Alpha-Squad server they play COOP with AS-missions.

    The only custom-maps I've played online :

    - De Dust (that was a long time ago !)

    - Ausiguy's Downtown

    - Industrial

    Atleast that's what I remember now.

    So many maps, so little used :(

  6. that once you pop in the cd

    it starts up

    I think that's done with a file called AUTORUN.INF. In there (open with txt-editor) there's the EXE-file that need to be run when CD inserts. Else do a Google-search on 'autorun cd's' and you probably get an answer.

  7. I know when making a Rectangle and you Extrude it to give it height (so you'll get a wall around a square or something) you need to do something too with Cap, this way the inside of the rectangle is blank and not filled (else it would be a box). I used this for my collision-wall in my map. Also need to flip the normals so you won't have a sssticky edgeeee.

    Extrude is a modifier.

    I could be wrong tho, as I'm a beginning beginner at the very begin !
