If we just get a GR.net server up and running with maps/weps/chars/missions made by us, then who cares about those mods ! We could make a beta-testing-server, where we can let everybody test a mod ! A COOP-mission-server with TeamSpeak ! And maybe a team vs team server ! -
Some maps from 10mmAUTO aren't tagged properly : AI doesn't follow you over a bridge across a river for example. They are beautiful looking maps alright, but if they don't work right, they're not top quality IMO. Too bad, and what about Carribean Missile Crisis, what a (big) nice map, but it hasn't got a command-map, so it's useless for making/playing a mission. Sometimes I run it just to see it again ! If they sent us the max-files... !

I'm confusing here : missions with respawn ? Then it must be COOP-missions, because SP-missions don't have respawn. That's why people save alot ! In COOP missions you can set the respawn in the server-menu.

In gametypes (firefight/recon) the enemies spawn in the Map Points 00-35 (also in the zones-list in Igor). You can move them to where you like. Also the insertion/extraction are called Recon Insertion/Extraction. For team-based gametypes the teams spawn in the TR0a-TR3c bases. DYNACOMP looks like Microsoft ! no offence, j/k ! I hope they don't make an-adventure-kind-of-mod, you know, with riddles in the mission. I hate it when you standing infront of 2 doors, and you have to answer a question to get through the right door. Not that I'm stupid, but it's not the right game (for me)!

Those pics probably are somewhere in the data\shell\art-folder, you know, where the menu-pics are. Not sure tho, but do I have to look for you or can you do it yourself ? lol j/k Look in the folders.

Lexsis, try to learn the basic stuff of max first. What I did is read the help section in max. It's huge, and got all basics covered. Like creating shapes, apply modifiers to it, applying textures, etc. After that you can read/understand a specific GR-tutorial much better, also the tips Deleyt gives us ! GL

Jack57 is right ( ) Also opposing_force's (spawned) use opposing_force.kit. There are 7 different opposing_force's, and only 5 opposing_force.kit's, so they get random weapons with gametypes.

The only mods I've seen online are (besides the stolen ones) : - Frostbite - HX 4/5 - TG mod That's on ASE. On Alpha-Squad server they play COOP with AS-missions. The only custom-maps I've played online : - De Dust (that was a long time ago !) - Ausiguy's Downtown - Industrial Atleast that's what I remember now. So many maps, so little used

I think that's done with a file called AUTORUN.INF. In there (open with txt-editor) there's the EXE-file that need to be run when CD inserts. Else do a Google-search on 'autorun cd's' and you probably get an answer.

City-map looks good ! About laser, wow looks like star-wars, especially in night-fight ! Does the AI react when they see a red dot on someones face

I know when making a Rectangle and you Extrude it to give it height (so you'll get a wall around a square or something) you need to do something too with Cap, this way the inside of the rectangle is blank and not filled (else it would be a box). I used this for my collision-wall in my map. Also need to flip the normals so you won't have a sssticky edgeeee. Extrude is a modifier. I could be wrong tho, as I'm a beginning beginner at the very begin !

The balaclava (if it's from opposing_force) is part of the model, it won't go away by changing a face. (There's also a head-attachment with a balaclava. You can put that on every face.)

For stealth-missions (COOP) I use most of the time the SOCOM. If it's loud : m16/gl, sa80, M4.

You could use a death-trigger to activate it. (Instead of 30sec) So once someone is killed it'll display the actor with most kills.
