I tried the new install from the CD as well as from Ubi and still got the error. So to heck with Ubi, hello Game Spy and Seeing Eye

Every time I log into the GR lobby there seems to be something try to write or access my HDD causing a grinding sound. This has been going on for about 4 weeks now. One week ago I reformatted my HDD and reinstalled ubi. Still the same problem exists even after repeated uninstall/ reinstall attempts. This is the error I get when it crashes:
Gs4 has caused a error in Lobbypluggin.dll

These are all great tips but, my game only locks up when I switch away from the 21.83's. And as I said before, I'm using the Ali Magik chip set on my motherbrd NOT Via.

System:
AMD 1200
512 Kingston DDR
I-will KA 266R mthbrd
Asus V7700 GF2 64 mg
SB Platium 5.1
Maxtor 7200 40G HDD
Asus 50x
Plextor 121032
WinME
DX 9

The Asus video cards come with a program that monitors temp, volts etc. Everytime I reboot the program says that the video card is fine, 50 degrees Celsius

-
My mthrbrd does run on the Via chipset, it uses Ali Magik which are up to date. The DX9 is a very recent upgrade, last ditch effort. My game has been locking up for more then a year on different drivers, the only one I can get to work are the 21.83's or the 6.31 that came with the Video card. Not even the new 34.01 from Asus work

System as follows:

All software/hardware is up to date
I waiting for prices to drop a little then plan to upgrade to a P4 2.53, Asus mthbrd and ATI 9700Pro

I'm running WinME with DX9, but still get the lockups.

Every piece of hardware is updated that I can think of

Same story, I tried some of the suggestions and get lockups in the game, guess I'm stuck with the 21.83's

The temp is in Celcius and runs in around 45 degrees which converts to 110 F? give or take. Went to PC Pitstop and its telling me that there is a problem with my uncache area, which is running at about 20% of norm, dont know how to correct that. I've done lots of HHD test from Maxtor and no problems, I think it might have something to do with the way I reformatted my HHD on a RAID brd. Problem with the disk controllers I'm thinking.

Everything list in answer to my problem is fine, temp is good, system clean, orb heatsink fan, 350w PS. The system is two years old and its just in the last 5 months I've had this problem

I have played around with different drivers for my Asus V7700 GF2 64mg card and found that the 21.83 are the only ones that don't lock up my GR game. Anyone eles use a different driver with success for a GF2 card?

Since this is my game of choice, I thought I would throw this question out here first.
Problem: I can be working on a E-mail or surffing a page and my screen will go black and my system restarts. I read somewhere that this might be caused by a pw supply problem. Has anyone experienced similar problems?

FB keeps crashing on me Y?

In the FB mod folder itself there is this text file:
You need to use the Frostbite Launcher.exe to use Frostbite for the first time.
If you do not use the launcher, your sounds will not function properly. I would
recommend using it each time you want to play Frostbite as it automates a number of
functions before the game launches.
The Frostbite Launcher.exe will be in the directory that you have Frostbite installed
to. This should be in your Ghost Recon\Mods directory.
To create a shortcut to your desktop, right-click on the Frostbite Launcher.exe
and choose send to from the pop-up menu followed by desktop.
