Most of the way thru redoing my M4 model: The finished version will have a few color tweaks & there are a few pieces missing from the model currently that will be taken care of.

Some bad news guys - my 3+year old HD locked up a few weeks ago and nothing was getting it up again so I had to format her. 95% of my 3dsm work was not backed up yet and bit the dust. Made me sick to my stomach as each of those models represented hours (4-6) of work. I have not yet decided if I am going to have time to finish the mod now in a decent time frame so my FR mod may be dead in the water. With the holidays on us it would most likely be late Jan. at best before I could replace the lost material. Not to mention the guys that I was building the mod to play with are all overseas rig

This is the stock m4 .gun file found at C:\Program Files\Red Storm Entertainment\Ghost Recon\Mods\Origmiss\Equip Changing the values in this block: Will give you the effect you are looking for. The lower the value, the higher the accuracy. This would only work in single player mode to the best of my knowledge. If you wanted to use it in multi I'm 99% sure the server and anyone joining would therefore have to have them as well.

Go to C (if you did the default installation):\Program Files\Red Storm Entertainment\Ghost Recon\Mods\Origmiss\Kits\hero\lindy_cohen this is the folder that contains all the various kits available to cohen. For example: The 6th line identifies her primary weapon, oicwgl.gun - you can pick another .gun out of C:\Program Files\Red Storm Entertainment\Ghost Recon\Mods\Origmiss\Equip (or the Equip folder of the expansion packs or mods you have), like the m1911.gun for example, and replace the complete oicw name with the complete 1911 name. Example: The same applies for line 1

The 1911A1 is almost exclusively referred to as Colt, not Browning.

The AI does have quirks that can be frustrating, but as you become more familiar with the game you will learn to anticipate and counter them. Of course you will still get jipped from time to time, but that is part of playing GR. I would echo the advice to stay away from mods until you are proficient with the stock weapons. It will make you a better player (so will little or no respawns). Glad to see a new player!

Not in the past few days, but I did update almost all my drivers & bios last week. Rebooted and it is running fine so far though.
