If you are talking about the raised center ridge of the stock, you can use the edit mesh / vertex tool. Then you just select the points that correspond to the center line and raise them using the move tool. That may not be the best way, but it worked for me on the m14 revision I just did. RS

People do glow to a certain extent in NVG's (to a higher or lower degree based on factors like environmental conditions and steps taken to reduce signature) - I can personally attest to that. As it was explained to me, it is a combination of the photons given off and the reflected IR light from our skin and clothing. RS

I grouped all the parts together - if that is what you mean by attach - I am still a rookie at 3dsm so I don't know the absolute meaning for all the terminology. If you mean is it physically touching the other parts, I am 99% sure it is, but I am not positive. I will retry it today though to see if that is the problem. I don't texture my weapons off one pic like a lot of people do, I use seperate textures ( ). Can you tell me if I can still collapse the textures ( and by the way, how does one do that)? Thanks! RS

I redid a M14 model and added a trijicon ta55 to it - and it looked right in the renders/3dsm screens. When I exported it, a texture that covers the scope mount came up missing. I know the texture is in my mod file with the rest of them, so I have no idea how this happened. Can anyone shed some light? Here are a couple of the shots of the new model: RS
