Lancer Thanks! I pm'ed you some details. RS
-
Nice job on the LAW! I've been looking for a good pic to use in order to model one for my Force Recon mod (hint, hint) RS
-
The weapon's .gun file specifies what sounds will be used for that particular weapon. RS
-
Looking good Swartsz - I see you are now hooked on modeling too. RS

Avoid contractions. You have used interested twice on top of each other, poor grammar here. Do you have a reason to believe he would not be aware of what the First Battalion does? Here again, you have used a word on top of its self. Change to "According to the Department of Immigration and Naturalization’s website, the granting of citizenship to a child by waiving requirements is extremely rare . ( You use however again in the next sentence). Also, although I cannot speak in absolute certainty for the UK, naturalization is usually spelled with a "z" not an "s".

How bout a little reality with that spam-blaster?

Oh, I misunderstood your point earlier. Consider though that you would give the OICW user a different advantage if you put in airburst grenades for the OICW- it would pretty much render most of the cover on a map useless in protecting you from a GL attack. RS -
Lol, if anyone got him in trouble it was himself for posting that he is working on GR2 online -whoopsie!!! RS

I am glad the air-burst feature isn't included. It might be fun for singleplayer, but I like my multiplayer games to be decided by skill, not by who has taken the oicw. RS -
That all depends on the ETA of some weapons from an outside source...it looks more and more like I might do it all in-house for sake of my timetable though. RS

Here is an in-game shot of the m14 - I still have to tweak a few things like hand placement... RS

Here's the M10 in-game:

Thanks guys. The rifle is pretty much a copy of the Springfield Armory Supermatch M1A - I can't take any credit for the camo - it is the McMillan Marine Corp camo fiberglass stock SA offers. RS
-
I wanted a more distance based optic package than the aimpoint to enable the shooter to reach out and touch someone - the M14 is a better med-long range rifle IMHO. Poly for the un-optimized acog is in the upper 800's. RS
-
I already have the .wav files done from an actual M10 with the Bower suppressor RS
-
I have finally decided on an optic for this weapon - going with the trijicon ta01NSN...the acog is see thru w/ accurate ret.

Can you do this one???
-
Here is the pic it came from. I don't have a total count for the weapons in the FR mod yet - there are some issues I am waiting to hear back on. I had planned on 6 assault rifle configs, 2-3 sniper rifle set-ups, 2 mg's, 3 smg's, 2 pistols, and one anti-tank weapon.

Thanks guys.

If you genuinely see NCO methodology as abuse, 99% of the time it is because you don't belong there. There are the few exceptions of course, every line of work has bad apples. The methods NCO's use are time-tested and have been honed through trial and error. Very few things are done by them without reason. I could write a thesis on the duties and actions of the US Military NCO, but the bottom line is they do their job, all of it, the way they have been trained. You are dogged out in basic to strip the selfish thoughts away and rebuild you as someone thick-skinned who thinks more of the team an -

Col. Lownds (sp?) and LtCol. Heath are the two that stick in my head, not sure if Lownds was on the ground at Khe Sanh. By the way, I believe I if I remember correctly that the battle was 77 days in all. "America's Force in Readiness" - Semper Fi!
