Before the moderators possibly react negatively to the usage of "hack", it's the appropriate term for writing or editing code quickly and looking for results over finesse. This isn't "Hollywood Hacking" There are *many* places to find these sorts of XML hacks already done... the game was actually designed so folks could edit the XML and "tweak" the game to their liking, including opening SP levels, changing the reticule colours, and modifying game settings that aren't easy to change in the GUI, but are still intended for modification. Psst, Ravenmouth, go easy on bob... he's not the e

Photoshop wasn't really designed for native print layouts, but it's certainly doable. * Create a folder with the images you want to include. * In the File menu in PS7, select Automate -> Contact Sheet II * Point the "source" folder at the one you created, and configure the other options (especially thumbnails) into the layout you want. * Ok it all, and it will turn the folder's images into a single page of "thumbnails" Alternately, create a blank 8 1/2 x 11 document, and add the three images you want by copy/paste to create three layers, which you can then resize/relocate to

ET for the Atari 2600. Atari buried millions of unsold/returned copies in a landfill.

I'm glad to hear that you resolved the problem, and am especially glad that you returned to post the solution. That certainly may help others down the road.

Is it possible that Estilo has enabled/disabled any mods since the last time you played? Also, could his IP have changed, and the address you are trying to connect to no longer is his server?

You configure it from your computer first, then once it's programmed, it'll work on whatever device you are trying to add to your network. Bridges are more link mini-routers than simple NICs. Once configured initially to recognize your existing Wi-Fi network, any further configs can be done via a web browser, like most routers. There's a link detailing exactly how to configure (this particular at least) a wireless bridge to work with an Xbox.

I belive zoom is handled by holding down your "zoom" button, and sliding the mouse forwards/backwards.

...but you can use a wireless ethernet bridge, such as this device from Linksys. These types of network devices are designed specifically for situations like trying to network "internet appliances" that you can't crack open or easily modify, such as an Xbox's networking.

I'm probably a ###### for saying this, but I can't find the exact link on the SpikeTV site... what am I missing?
-
*insert expletive here* That's scary.

The BitTorrent links are even better. The more people downloading, the better the individual's speed.

I don't know what would cause the problem, but on Windows systems, launch Adobe Photoshop 7.0, then hold down Ctrl-Alt-Shift. A prompt appears, asking if you want to delete the Adobe Photoshop Settings File. Click "Yes" to restore Photoshop 7.0 to its default settings. This will reset the interface to defaults, but won't do anything nasty like remove plugins or that sort of thing.

...or the movie was meant to inspire these sort of questions/debates/discussion. Some like one shot deals, with a premise, setup, content and closed ending. Others prefer to be left with a lasting "something to think about" feeling. The Matrix series is certainly the latter. After all, we are all here to discuss (at least occasionally) Ghost Recon. Is the game not very good since we all gather together to talk about it? Perception.

Another option if AVG isn't up to speed is TrendMicro's free online antivirus checker. There is a known vulnerability in Sun's Java code that allows certain types of malicious code to be ran via Java applets in websites. I advise everyone to update to the latest build of the Java engine as soon as possible, from Java.com

Possible explanation. I remember there was a prior thread here in the late summer, but I can't find it. I may be way off, but just in case.

I'm not an expert here, but just in case.. Are you by chance behind a router/firewall that you may or may not be aware of? For example, a home network, the built in XP firewall or something like ZoneAlarm? Those may block the ports neccessary to communicate your settings to Ubi.com. I never use Ubi.com but what you describe sounds like either a problem with the Ubi.com software installed on your machine (which happens often enough) or a network situation (which is common as well).

The plugin I have is 120k. Hmm...

*** ROTTEN MILK, er, SPOILER *** While I don't doubt there will be more movies, I believe that conversation refers to the "looping" nature of the "real world" and The Matrix. There was a "the one" at least once before, and possibly many times. Will they see Neo again? Probably. Eventually, the peace will fail, and the machines will destroy all of the "free" humans... and then it will start all over again. That final conversation, I belive, refers to whether they will ever see a "the one" as powerful as Neo was.

Photoshop CS is the latest version... think of it as Photoshop 8. The .rsb plugin does not work on the Mac platform. I believe the original poster did say they were using a Mac version of GR, thus I think it's safe to assume they have Photoshop for Mac as well. The .rsb plugin is Windows only. Aspyr didn't bother porting the modding tools to the Mac version.

**SPOILERS** Neo's dead. He was "the One" in this iteration. There have been priors, who also died. It was his fate. The Matrix goes on, except for those who want out. Machine and man included. The actress who played The Oracle died before #3 was filmed, so a new actress was written in with an implied "punishment" to explain why she looked differently than before. When Smith took over Neo, it flatlined his body, but the Machines "rebooted" him just enough to break the cycle, thus destroying the karma-driven loop of Smith winning. The "train man" was

I think that the educational versions are licensed only for non-commercial use, as in you can do whatever you want, as long as you aren't doing it for work/money/etc. For modding GR, that's not a concern. Again, I am going on sketchy brain cells at the moment, so I could in fact be wrong, not having ever used 3dsmax, and having a retail Photoshop 7 I got from my company.

The forum is PHP based, which means each page that your browser sees is dynamically generated, as in it's not there until you click the link. The "back" button would take you back to what's in your local cache, which doesn't reflect what's actually on the site at the time you hit "back".

It's actually a bit funny. I was looking for the webkits last night for my team's site, and found Ubisoft.com to be lacking in references, so I decided to try the ol' FTP out on the assumption that the kits would be there, or the server would be gone. Much to my pleasure, all was well. The UBI FTP is as slow as ever, but it's still there.

I've been a proud member of this team since day one, and to some degree, the day before. We really are a more social group, with a wide mix of ages and lifestyles. We recruit based on this fact more than anything else... the idea of a team being a group of unique individuals who choose to work together out of mutual respect and a shared (slightly sick) sense of humour. We are competetive, and North America based, so time zones may be an issue to some. Still, our bottom line is to have fun as a group, and win some matches. We're looking for the gamer who wants to be a part of something
