I have a copy of Ghost Recon which is all up to date i also have Island ThunderYeah i have Both Ghost recon and Desert Seige. Dont have Island thuder though

the patches never corrected that issue since they have been released before the introduction of patch 1.3, responsible of the CTD. So check the following linkVery few mods have CTD bugs. If you get Black Sun 3.0, you will have to delete mission 5 from the campaign as that will CTD. Make sure you install all mod patches.

Thanks for the kind answers. Of course I'm sureabout the CD format. I tried to install Nero but it seems it doesn't support my combo.
Do you think there could be the possibility that having installed so many buring softwares they made conflict among them?
It's not easy to change combo since I use laptop

I tried many programs and everone gives the same problem. Also the burning XP native doesn't work.
I have no problems with normal CD-Rom
I didn't make any bios upgrade!

My como drive Toshiba SD-R2102 doesn't burn CR-RW anymore. Also it's not able to erase them.
There is no problem instead with normal CD.
Which could be the problem?

I heard about it, Italian news are saying this. NOw I'm in France (Lyon) and tomorrow I will take the train to reach home (more or less 600km).....

Yes, all you have to do is to record your voice in a wav format. Check the properties of a voice wav file in GR sounds directory to see the specifical characteristics of the wav file (Right click/properties over the wav file).
Of course the wav should be triggered by scripting.
If you want to modify the file wav you created (by adding some effects or others) I suggest http://www.goldwave.com

hey, while i'm at it, anybody know how to bring up the console using a laptop keyboard, which doesn't have the numpad enter key?
Usually you have to press Num lock and this will enable the numpad that is located in the same main keyboard. Take care that sometimes the Num Lock has to be pressed together with another button, FN for example.

i'm currently stuck on mission 11 and wondering if anyone else has had this problem:
everything works fine until right about the time that the ASLAV comes to pick-up the injured troopers, and air support comes in from the northwest.
at that point, my game just freezes. well, every few minutes or so it moves a few frames, but that's about it. i've restarted the mission several times now and every single time it happens.
This happened several times during beta-testing with Streinger while it never happened to AUs_Viper, Jack57 and me. I tried also to dig deeply in the script but couldn't fine an explanation of this.
Surely Streinger will give you an explanation how to pass it, he told me once but I can't remember

Igor is the tool to make missions for Ghost Recon and you can find it on the root directory of Ghost Recon.
It's plenty of guides for beginners including a couple made by the same RSE.

Also in my case I report some CTD for an unknown reasons. Surely it's not related about scripting.

Ok, first of all I would make only one block including both hearing and seeing script such as
continue if playerplatoon seen AND heard by enemy
The second aspect surely is related by the fact that the enemies react as an AI input and not because the script is triggered. You could be more sure add a display message "test" inside the block.
Which value did you set the timeelapse. It could be that the GR engine checks the condition quite rarely. Put it at 0 secs
