  1. And out of 10- hows 9.999999999 sound
    Means less than Frostbite? :wall::P

Unfortunately there's only 13 specialists positons available so i guess the Mod team may have had limited options in that regard.

Consider that there wasn't also place for an Italian specialist (Italy partecipated at the mission) and therefore to make my own specialist we played a bit with the Brazilian biography (an Italian guy naturalized Brazilian!) :ohttp://www.nodnetwork.com/~aus_viper/Opstab_hero_Brazil.htm

  2. Thanks for the kind review, Gordo! Having a review in GR.net really means that the mod is worthy to be played ;)

There is no real weak point with this mod, weapons, vehicles, missions, characters- and general interest factor all add up to make a mod worth the download and worth keeping.

I want to anticipate other comments: there is something missing in this mod and it's name is MAPS. Nobody of the modding team had the capability to make new maps and therefore we used only the original ones....

  3. I mean in this way:

    Group: <Default>

    Comment:

    obj added

    Trigger Event:

    20 second(s) elapsed.

    Responses:

Display "Obj added - new waypoint" to all players for 3 second(s).

Add Objective 1 to the objective list.

Show Actor 94 on the command map for all players.

Of course Actor 94 will be a fake actor having as name "Waypoint name" and hidden at startup.

If you still have problems write me an e-mail and I will send a test mis file

  4. Yes and no :P

You could use a show zone map response but you will not have an indication if you pass your mouse over. The best way is IMHO as we made in OS mod: make a fake atr file with the description of the waypoint and uses a showmap actor as response.

I don't have Igor here with me so I can't show you the exact command.

  5. Having testers play it over and over again to weed out the bugs or problems that might pop up and cause the mission to not work correctly. When all's well it's then released for everyone to enjoy.  That saves you from cussing up a storm because you just spent 50 minutes in the heat of battle and all of a sudden CTD.

Don't think that beta-testing is pure enjoyment. It's a real activity, like scripting or skinning. When you play one mission again and again you will become bored of it. ;)

  6. I remember I've played the first 4 missions still in beta version and found pretty good even if requiring lots of horse powers from your computer. I thought the project died but I'm happy to see it's finished.

    Congratulations!

  7. Thanks to everyone. I'll try your suggestion and in the worst case the old way called "format c:\ and reinstall".

@CR6: I'm using XP home. Thanks for the tip

I will let you to know ;)

I found a new bios for the combo. Is it risky to try it? do you suggest me to avoid such thing?
