  1. Usually the development phase of a mod has a direct impact on the number of posts made by the mod leader.

    In fact:

    - at the beginning there are many posts to propose the idea of the mod and to see if the community likes the project;

    - the number of posts slightly decreases while the modder are starting the creation of the mod

    - huge increase of posts due to the many screenshots to show about the new chrs, vehicles and so on

    - posts almost absent: this is a clear indication that the mod entered in the scripting phase (it's very difficult to show somehting during this phase)

    - posts increase slightly when the release is close.

Having said that it looks clear to me that the mod entered its deep scripting phase.

  2. Yes definitely a great idea that I would like to support. However first I invite everyone to send me their Winter Jodit mod. I'll compile them and release as free stuff

So far I have only element11, sleeper and sixpence mods.

Ingeloop, cobaka, Killabees and CC can you send me yours?

    Thank

Only Killabees is missing but we all know that his absence is justified. Take your time my friend ;)

  3. Copyright violation to modify and/or redistribute. That being said, if a serious attempt to contact the original creator fails, and you are willing to toss your project if the original author shows up and demands it, you're probably morally fine, if not legally fine.

My opinion, and only my opinion.

    I agree 100%

  4. What are the HW specifications of this game? I can't find them.

I'm already downloading the demo but since the max speed is around 6 KBps you can guess I need few hours (right now 18 hours estimated left :( ) so I would really like to know if it's better to abort.

    Thanks

  5. Mission completed!!!

What a blast! The first part is incredible. Usually I like stealth missions but I enjoyed so much to repell the first wave and ended with 3 members KIA. I then moved to capture the commander and on my way back I found the fort had been conquered!

It was hard to take it back since I was running out of ammo!

  6. Well i voted, only cos i dont like the look of the one in the lead :hmm:

didnt seem to make any difference thought Rocky, sorry :(

I already expressed my doubts about the contest. I voted 1 for both the 1st and 2nd girl and got no difference!!! Something not right here...

  8. Hey again.. these are only suggestions, please don't take it as demands. I think theres 2 possible ways it could be done, 1: if there is no demo charges left to complete obj 3, then mission should be failed or 2: use the other warehouse for an demo charge kit pick up. Also forgive me for not saying ty to u, mig, krp, and of course rh.. Any more mission mods u lads touching up ??

Practically you quoted what I posted earlier.

I would go for option 1, mission would be very hard but since it's the last mission of the campaign you could accept it.

I'm going to wait if there are other few bugs, it will be very easy to fix it.

In the pure spirit of Right-Hand scripts I went for option 1. Mission is modified but since the modification is so simple I would prefer to wait for few more comments otherways the real revision of this would be 10^-6 meaning 1.000001

  9. It was August 2005 when Jack57 released his last full campaign: Brothers in Arms.

After that campaign nothing more..... except one mission he made for an eventual version 2 of British Infantry Mod then dropped.

Now Jack57 gave me the permit to release the mission that I modified (always with his permit) to be a standalone mod with the great contributions of cobaka, ita Killabees, ingeloop, migryder, T!nker and expecially Janie42 who made an excellent work of improvement of the mission. (see this thread for development phase discussion)

The mission now is set 3 weeks after the end of the Desert Siege campaign with the UN peacekeepers deployed along the border between Ethiopia and Eritrea.

Desert Siege: Aftermath will be released very very soon but meanwhile see the attached pictures taken at the very beginning of the mission
