  1. I am running version 1.4.0.0 of Ghost Recon under Windows XP. Anyone know where Ghost Recon saves the current games and missions? I want to be able to back this up "just in case". I have looked at the obvious files and folders but don't see any that are modified today (which is when I last played and saved the game.) Thanks.
  2. Am I missing something? I effectively followed this strategy and then was unable to complete the optional objective since everyone was dead. I do agree with the approach of killing everyone I meet. Or to quote General Schwartzkof "I believe that forgiving them is God's function. Our job is simply to arrange the meeting." Can I plant the demo charge and not detonate it under after I have taken the house? Is there a time limit or range to remote detonate the charge?
  3. How do I win mission 2 - Eager Smoke? I am running version 1.4.0.0 under Windows XP. I rescue the pilot and weapons officer. I then head over to blow the plane. I have looked at the web sites for GR that I have come across but I haven't seen too much. The best I have seen is the Basic tactics on this web site and the single player tactics at the GR platoon site. However, I would like to find more detailed discussions. I am not looking for walkthroughs but rather discussions on how to deplay the teams, coordinate movement, perform recon, etc. I have noticed that there is a "official guide" book for GR available at Amazon but is the
  5. I just started playing GR and I have a newbie question. I looked in the manual but didn't see anything and did some searches on the forum. I am running GR 1.4.0.0 on Windows XP. I am just starting the single player campaign. Is there any way to maintain the visual perspective when switching between fireteams? By this, I mean I have my sniper in fireteam C zoomed in on an enemy ready to fire as needed. I then switch to another fireteam to check on their position and adjust slightly if needed to make sure that they are in postion. When I switch back to my sniper in team 3, he is no longer
