can i buy a better video card or something if so how much does it cost and would i be able to install it myself what would a new video or graphics card do would it give me better game play at faster speeds with better graphics

yeah i think its built in i dont know much about computers whatever was in the compaq when i bought it is what i have i can adjust the resolution in graphics but before it begins the action it appears to revert back to a lower resolution there is absolutely no detail or color i dont know why there is any color either on urban maps i cant make out any color or detail or anything on the buildings its a major problem any ideas?

when the game beings the resolution is so low that i have no detail on buildigns and mountains etc how do i increase the detail my resolution is set at the highest possible setting 1200 x 800 x 32 but when game begins it resets to 600 x 800 x16 and when i turn it back up the game crashes what is the problem
