That happened to me once. Have you tried looking inside the pc to see if it is clean? when i looked inside mine everything was covered in dust, i got some of that canned air stuff and a vacuum cleaner and half an hour later the pc was as clean as new. also check to see that ALL your fans are running (cpu, case and psu fans). hero2zer0 had a good suggestion, d/l that program, its great. also check the CPU cooling thread in the computer discussion area, people here are really helpful with stuff like this. get the program and post your temps, and clean

(shows how much i know about a pc and that i had to go out and buy a new cpu/hs combo ASAP . Stinger i ran motherboard monitor 5 here are the temps: sensor 1 (VIA686B-1) 23C ? sensor 2 (VIA686B-2) 39C (cpu) sensor 3 (VIA686B-3) 22C ? fan 1 (VIA686B-1) 4383 rpm (cpu fan) fan 2 (VIA686B-2) 2136 rpm (case fan)

a buddy of mine had a little incident with his cpu, he "swears" he was not overclocking but apparently its fried or close to fried . i decided to download a program called Speed Fan which allows you to check temps. it says that my cpu is at 40 celsius (is that too warm?) and gives me two other readings that are 22 and 23 degrees celsius respectively (don't know what those are). fan speeds are 4383 cpu and 2150 case fan. i am looking at upgrading either the case fan (are they all the same speed?? ) but most likely the cpu fan and HS. i'm looking at Volcano 7. any other suggestions? is t

I hate MP CHEATERS . Mods are what make games fun and "new". Personally i do not have a problem with the whole MP mod issue. it might be unpopular during the first few weeks, etc after it comes out but i think that people who really enjoy MP will play again and be assured of an equal playing field and a cheat free experience. But i hope that SP mods are not affected if they decide to implement this for GR2. my two cents

I have been thinking about a few new games as well, Rvs and SC are on the top of my list. I have been checking out the forums at UBI and at Aggression and apparently alot of people are having issues with RvS and the whole CD key and other issues, but a patch has been released. Splinter Cell seems like a good game but i'm not too sure about the replayability, i have looked at the forums on the splinter cell site and i have seen no major probs with the game. I agree. I had reinstalled GR about 6 times or so and i was told by forum members to install GR, DS, IT and the 1.4 patch. Nothing about a 1.3 patch, etc came up. A friend of mine had GR Gold and has not mentioned anything to me about patches, etc. GR Gold can't be that different...can it?

I've been checking some of the HP user forums online and found this: 200 watt psu I have read that 4 people have used this with their Pavilion PC's and everything was aligned and no need for holes, drilling, etc Has anyone bought anything from this site/manufacturer? Is it reliable? I have almost reached the end of possible upgrades for this PC, well maybe a DVD drive or new HD and a cpu fan (Volcano??) in the next six months or so. Will this 200 watt psu be able to handle everything I have now plus a DVD drive, etc?

Ruin, I know what you mean , I thought I was the only one. Are you using any unofficial add-ons like Messenger Plus, cause I started getting Instant Messages about adult content when I started using the program.
