I had trouble loading the page before, and didnt see your post, only saw Danniks. Was trying to figure out what the prob he posted was. LOL
Same prob here. But with my own posts. Lately i got several errors with uploading. Post, but my replay didnt appear. After some time a couple a couple of F5's (reload webpage) it does.
Kind of annoying sometimes.
No probs with pics in posts.

In what way is it that different from the PC version (except for mulitiplay, modding)? The campaigns and the objectives are same right?
Since my roommate has taken the PS2 out of the house, im thinking to buy a new one, at least for my Gran Tourimo thing. Maybe GR.. But still wondering why its such a no no.

Well same here.
It has to do with the active mods, cause each of them need to load before you run a campaign/quick level/mp game.
Adjusting your graphic settings to a lower mode will speed up things. Try with shadows and bullitholes off.
Altough my puter can handle the highest settings i prefer to play on lower.

BTW, the music in games is always ######. Its often cheap produced and when it is not (like for eg gran tourismo with populair bands like garage) it gets really, reeally annoying because of the loops.
If i wanna hear music during GR i also put a cd in my stereo set.

I dont see the problem. If you dont like it, then just dont use it.
In the campaign i do use it sometimes. I think with this disabled it would be really annoying to play the campaign and does scare off new players.
Altough in MP i def like to play with respawn set to 0.
Note:
Ever pushed in the heat of the game the quick-save instead of the quick-load?
(You should hear me say 'CRAP' from two blocks away)

You can instal without problems it on both computers, if youve got the CDs
But your license is probably for single use only. So it is illegal to use it on more than one computer.
Be carefull with the online registration.

Friend of mine is running GR + DS IT on P3, 300mhz, except for video mem no problemo.
Minimal req, are P2, so your set should do it.
Check also amazon.com for the goldpack, dont buy secondhand.

5 minutes of a guy playing on Battlfield (its quite funny because it is a n00b dev using god mode
) and some screens of the game.So I was wondering if many others have this or is it pretty rare?
Yep thats nice to see.
Got that cd and the PATCH (hehe) in a special game pack. GR + DS included.
Theres also the official refererance guide in it, but thats a bit of a downer. Just a lot of screenshots and walk throughs in very bad print. I just hoped on a lot of developers art work etc..
I bought the pack in Amsterdam, Europe, but i think its an usa release.
Still thinking where i have to put the patch on..

and download WinRar which will handle perfectly your .tar's.
Altough there could be a problem... I thought that .tar is a format for decopressing and SPLTTING! In order to get the file smaller in seize some compress-programs cut a for eg a 3mb into two 1.44mb. So it fits on two diskettes (remember the old days?). Afterwards it put the parts together, but you still need all the separate parts.
Couple of years ago when all on 56k, they used this system of cutted parts for downloading big files, without the problem of getting (after a long wait) a disrupted file due to inproper telephonelines. (It was actually kind of smart)
