  1. Thanks to everyone. I'll try your suggestion and in the worst case the old way called "format c:\ and reinstall".

    @CR6: I'm using XP home. Thanks for the tip

    I will let you to know ;)

    I found a new bios for the combo. Is it risky to try it? do you suggest me to avoid such thing?

    Do i have to say; be sure youve backed everything up before reinstalling?

    As for the (whats called in english) bios-swapping; Be absolutely 100% sure on what youre doing. This is procedure is not trial and error proof. You cant simulate it, nor cancel it during performing. If it goes wrong, you simply ruined your computer for real.

    My advice, and please im not questioning your abilities, but if anyone in general have to ask if its risky or not, just dont do it.

  2. Things must be pretty tough there up north.

    Especialy

    Eating ants from an anthill with a home-made "ant stick". Ants taste sour, a bit like lemon.

    this :P .

    Good to hear your still in.

  3. 8. Occasionally, for no reason whatsoever, your car would lock you out and refuse to let you in until you simultaneously lifted the door handle, turned the key and grabbed hold of the radio antenna

    Great find.

    Id love to be the pr-guy on GM and making a release like this.

    - When MS make cars there only available in blue, and you definetely need a anti-virus prog on your gps device.

  4. Recon,Mar 18 2004, 16:20 ] How much are quarters, dimes and nickels worth?

    I think a quarter is $0.25 but I'm not sure about the other two. :stupid:

    EDIT: think I've found it. Is a nickle $0.05 and a dime $0.10?

    That's right.

    I didn't even care enough to do the math on that one. :devil:

    Now that was the killer, we dont have nickels and dimes over here.

  5. What do need you need after a late night job, a great night out or laying sleepless in bed for 3 hours?

    The answer is food. A filthy, greasy meal, to fill that black hole in the stomach.

    So here is my recipe for the after hour;

    - 1 can of white beans in tomatosauce

    - 1 onion, sliced

    - 200 grams of sliced porkmeat

    - 1 big carrot, sliced in length, really thin

    - some drops of tabasco at your own taste

    - Fry the meat

    - Head up the beans and throw the onion in it, drop some tabasco in at own will

    - now here is the secret of the recipe; throw the really thin sliced carrot in the fried meat for a very short time. This combination is really The Bomb

    - and thats it, enjoy

    After this diet for almost half a year; what is your answer to this uber-hunger in the late night hours?

  6. b, you answered 25 out of 30 questions correctly!

    Congratulations! Your score is in the  percentile("96");96th  percentile. This means that if one hundred people took the test with you, your score would rank higher than 95 of them on average.

          When we analyzed your test, we also discovered that when it comes to linguistic-mathematical ability, you measure in the percentile("91");91st  percentile. This score indicates you have unusually strong abilities when it comes to  understanding numerical representation in words or "word problems." You're highly proficient at translating words into numbers. This can be very useful when solving a problem in real life. When people are discussing a vague problem that needs a specific solution, you're able to cut through the extraneous information to a clear answer.

    :rocky:

    :wacko: of all tests

  7. b, you're 13% feminine

        This is based on how you scored on a variety of traits that, founded on classic research and our own studies, are typically associated with women.

    You're also 87% masculine, which is based on how you scored on traits that are typically associated with men. When we compare your results with other men it shows that you are somewhat less feminine than other men.

    Me neither see the logic of telling the opposite gender first.

    @zjj;

    doing girlstuff instead of being on this forum wil make your masculine percentage drop with at least 8%

  8. Since the new creative mp3 player comes with a build in MicrDrive, see how thi guy gets a very cheap 4GB storage device for a digital camera out of it (no joke).

    The profit of being a bit handy with skrewdrivers;

    Creative Muvo2 mp3 player, 4GB; 250-350 euro/USD

    2x MicroDrive 2 GB = 4 GB; 800 euro/USD at least

    Now what wonders me the most is, why do have seperate drive be so expensive? As for its a Hitachi MD thats also sold on its own.

    Well, im out for that mp player first when some money comes in.

    Oh, do i have to say try at own risk?

  9. hmmm... i (supposedly) bill between $175 and $275 per hour. i spend a good 1/3rd (liar!) of my work day (for the past few days) on gr.net. im in at 7.15am and out by 7pm. call it 12 hours. 1/3 x 12 = 4. so i spend roughly $800 per day perusing through gr.net or $292,000 over 365 days. thats productivity baby :yes:

    Same here...

    .. wait a minute, im selfemployed. So taken the hours spend into account, you guys owe me. Now were can i send that bill to :devil:
