[Ghost Recon Expansion Pack]

it would seem to me UBI/Red Storm should put out another expansion pack...for several reasons....first, it would cost them very little to produce another 8 mission pack...just a few tweaks as far as scripting the missions and map/environmental tweaks for lets say an artic setting, which I would buy in a heart beat...they would not have to drop bucks to produce a new engine or "overhaul" the current...second, GR2 may not be out for who knows how long...why not fill that void....third, for $20.00, the value is simply to great for gamers to resist....we all have spent much more on new games that either suck as in gameplay and/or suck because of software issues...finally, personally, I have a mid level pc...it runs all of the current games very well..and while I will certainly buy GR2, I kinow what that means for me...upgrade...upgrade...upgrade....

as far as the DS install, I would be sure the install is pointed to c:program files\red storm entertainment\ghost recon...the install should find the path by itself....perhaps for some reason DS is trying to install to some other destination....if the path looks ok, if it were me, I would uninstall GR, reinstall....run defrag....then try DS install......DS and IT are not stand alones and require GR to play..once DS and IT are installed, simply go to the MODS tab and activate them...then go to campaign, start a new campaign and select whichever one you want...as you complete missions in the campaign, they will then show up and can be played as a quick mission...
