Yes, "All Quiet" is legendary. It's out on DVD but the only one I can find is the crappy 70s remake.

I'm in England, so being commander is handy for me to set up good times for all concerned (thanks Fish).
i. Mods - I was thinking maybe Standard Upgrade and as for skins, we need something that looks cool for the riflemen etc. without taking away the ghillie suits.
ii. My game cant recognise the server in the multiplayer section, so I'll get on to Zeb, see if he can lend us his.
iii. Co-op sounds good to me although team games present more of a challenge with human tactics.
If anyone has any suggestions, fire away.

Six things:
1. I wont post my favourites, as they're already here.
2. No-one mentioned "Zulu" to my knowledge. A Classic!
3. "The Deer Hunter" is hardly a war film. It has 20 minutes of war-related footage out of a three hour film and only about 1 of those minutes was actual combat. It is about the life of three young men and how the war changed them irrevocably.
4. "The Green Berets" is a dire piece of cinematography with a visibly aged John Wayne hobbling around with a 1911 in a country that looks nothing like 'Nam.
5. "Enemy At The Gates" is only based on a true story, and Zaitsev didn't kill Konig like that. But it's still a good movie
6. "We Were Soldiers" is awful; there is hardly any character development, and they left out the other hero of the battle (not Moore), Rick Rescorla who was killed in the 9/11 attack.

@Earl - please include Standard Upgrade in this mod! It'll go so well with everything. I don't know the ins and outs of what Force Recon use, but the combo would pretty much cover what I've seen.

LOL. What was it, 200 rounds before a barrel change? Wouldn't like to be the gunner on that one. Imagine being in a firefight with that! Two boxes and you get to sit around for a bit...
Anyway, the older ones looked better. Is there gonna be one in the mod? I just bought Hamburger Hill on DVD and that film made me love it, apart from the NVA had them too. ?????

I heard all over the lace that the E3 sucked cuz of the lightweight barrel getting too hot. Whereas they had this problem with the previous configurations, you could fire more rounds off before this hinderance began.
Am I right?

This would be sooo good combined with Standard Upgrade. All we need now is a retextured M60 and MP5 and that's pretty much all of the US weapons covered.
