  1. Is anyone running a mod that you aren't? That could cause yoru game to crash when the person uses a weapon from a mod that you do not have running.

I did not think it mattered what mods the player had running as long as they had at minimum the ones that the server/host has? Nonetheless, my group has been experiencing similiar 'crashes' with our games recently, we think we tracked it down to an incompatibility issure with HX4 Hell-o-pak as far as the limited ammo install versus some other mods that increase ammo. If you have this it might be something to look at. Our Dell server has a 1.8ghz processor and 1GB of ram and still crashes. Good luck to ya.

  2. i was just curious as to how accurate the weapons in GR are compared to real-life military weapons? for instance, do military rifles have a 2 x's zoom on some weapons, and do real support weapons even have a zoom? are sniper rifles really able to zoom in they wey they do in the game? another thing, do they have sensors in real life military (this seems very unrealistic)?

another thing that bothers me, how come enemies show up as red diamonds on the map when no sensors are even down? i love the map view, but don't think it should show where the enemy is coming from.

oh well, just curious on some input from some of you army pro's out there. i love this game, but would like to see it portrayed as close to real-life specs, and situations as possible.

i would also like to see a mod of some kind that offers more enemies in the original campaigns, and change where the attack from. i would also like to see a mod that changes up some of the starting / spawn positions in online play like siege.

From my military experience (20yrs), alot of the weapons accuracy, rate of fire, scope zoom etc are very close to real life. GR has done a very good job overall of duplicating effects.

  3. Ok, here is the basics...I have a DI-604 broadband router. I set up port forwarding for #3782 for RW (Roger Wilco), and it works just fine. I set up forwarding for #2346 for GR, and nobody can connect to me on GR. I have a friend who has just the opposite connection problems with GR being usable and RW not?
