Thanks, I went to the site and was able to install the audigy 2 drivers..but unfortunately, I still get the same problem I was trying to fix..I get loud "pops and Crackles" during GR gameplay..This doesnt happen in any other game I play...ie Unreal Tournamet 2003 or Max Payne I believe it is some hardware problem, maybe the card or the MB?? I dont know.. Asus A7N8X Athlon XP 2000+ 512 DDR Ram Audigy Platinum Any advice..
  2. I have an Audigy Paltinum Card, but I'm currently having problems with this card under XP when Im playing GR.It was suggested that I download The Audigy 2 Drivers and use them instead..But the install of these drivers stops when it fails to detect an audigy 2 card..How do I get around this???
  3. Ive downloaded the audigy 2 drivers for WinXP, but on installation, it just says that it cannot detect audigy 2 card, and goes no further..How do I get around this?
  4. Hi, I have an audigy platinum soundcard running on a Windows XP Home Machine. When i'm playing GR, I can hear loud "pops and crackles " during game play..I've tried just about everything and doesnt go away.. My System is as follows... Asus A7N8X M/Board Athlon XP 2000+ Processor 512MB PC 2700 DDR-Ram GeForce 2 Card Audigy Platinum The M/Board has onboard sound which Ihave disabled. Ive tried playing the game with the onboard audio, and I get the same thing... Previously under Win2K..this was not happening Any suggestions from anyone..?
