Greetings! @cozzie The only missions in 4.8 are the new gametypes such as defend , cat and mouse, behemoth, interrogation. The only new map is the HX Industrial which under missions has a HX firefight/defend kind of objective. The mod was mostly about the guns and kits. I think your maybe looking for a campaign mod.

Greetings! Dear Jack57, Our team is just now using a dedicated server and we have found that any cinematics videos such is used in your mod will cause any dedicated servers to crash. Alpha/Monkey found this out on his Swift Intervention mission, and made a non-cinematic version. Would it be possible for you to create an non-cine version for this? Many ded-servers would run this but for the crashes.

Greetings! In the real world there was a lot of hype and propaganda concerning the effectiveness between the AK47 and M16. Add to the fact that the early M16 had jamming problems at first early in the Vietnam campaign, stories of US soldiers using captured AK47's(also using it's sound as to confuse the enemy)were reported. This was used by some as a proof of the inferiority of the M16. Later versions corrected this problem but the simplicity of the AK47 design made for less jamming and less need for cleaning in the harsh jungle elements. Some gunsmiths think the complex gas system in the M16 is inherently prone to trouble compared to other designs. The AK47 like most all Soviet weapons was designed for mass production and ease of maintenance. However, the AK modifications haven't been as good as the M4 carbine. Most experts agree the greatest advantage to the M16 is the long range accuracy of a single shot.

Greetings! It's official! The European Community has deployed it's own force under the EU flag in Bosnia. This development has very quietly shaken up the world order, with what promises to be a military might, that could easily surpass the combined forces of the old Soviet Union. The EU nations have a huge combined military strength already, but by just spending about 5% of it's GNP on defense, it could overtake the US in about 5 -7 years. Add in the new nations applying for membership from the old east bloc, and even Russia herself, it would be the biggest juggernaut the world has ever seen!

Greetings! You swapped out original missions files?!?!? No wonder your having trouble. Uninstall the entire mod and re-download to Ghost Recon/ Mods folder. You shouldn't have to do anything else to get this to work other than activating it. P.S. Perhaps I'm not understanding the nature of your original problem with 4.8. I thought your question was concerning what mission file is included in 4.8. Please re-state your trouble with this mod.

Greetings! The mission file you see is for the HX Industrial Map mission. BTW--that map is the only reason I keep 4.8 on my hard drive.

Greetings! I must let you know about the most unbelievable turn of events I've ever seen in GR. Jasbo and I were doing the Stealth Recon week 1 mission. When after emerging from the tunnel and taking out seven Tangos in the back street behind the Safehouse using silenced weps, we were waiting for the second of two coming out of the right side alleyway. He never came out. Apparently he went the opposite way up the alley and engaged the Russian Control Post and killed five Russians before he was killed! We lost the objective for Russian kills this way, although we never shot them, the tango did. We both went all the way up the alley to the corner to look at what happened to the russians, the one Russian left was able to shoot one round through my head and out the otherside killing Jasbo with the same bullet! -------------------- SpecialDetachment(SD)

Greetings! I went and downloaded and installled twice the Slash and Burn and the Trafficjam and put them in Mods folder and extracted them there. The folders had all the components inside and showed up on my mods manager launcher by Firestar. However they're not in my available mods in GR options screen. What did I do wrong?

Greetings! The Supergrids mod is very nice but everyone especially the host server must be running it, which isn't often. The anti-cheat mods like Kidbuster will read any changes to the original, mp1, mp2 maps like using Flava 1.4 grids---as a cheat program! Kidbuster will block you from joining that server using any altered files. The only solution is to force a grid mod from the server that everyone must use like Supergrids(which leaves out FB). Of course this applies to multiplayer only.

And to Marcinko; as for defrauding the government, at the heart of the matter was the logistics of this new flashbang and how it was purchased.
