I'm going to say it... LAME. Reminds me of a Sega Genesis Flight Sim.

GL fix There's a fix for the GL in v1.41. There's also an MP version of this mod, though, it has a few problems in coop with RPGs for some reason, but TDM seems to work. 1.45 thread, but 1.47 release. I'm playing the entire single player game on hard core. OI!!!!! Fun with the mods!!! Thanks again Brettzies!

Awwww man!! You didn't have to dude! THANK YOU! Another HUGE thanks goes out to NoQuarter who actually took the time to send me his modded sp_weapon file! You guys REALLY care.

1.41 is unbundled, so that shouldn't be a problem. 1.4 doesn't have the GL count problem as far as I remember. That was introduced with the new patch. So what is exactly the problem? Using 1.4 with the 1.05 is going to yeild the same results on GL count, so I would use 1.41 which is already unbundled. You still have to unbundle the patch and edit the sb_weapons thing to get more GL rounds. I guess I could do it and release an updated version, but I don't find the command line really that hard to unbundle something. It's been explained several places and times, even step by step. I actually find the run command a little more difficult. I just hate releasing the same thing over and over with no real content and minor fixes that are already problems with the unmodded game. Command line is not so bad and used by many major film studios because of efficiency. It's on Linux though, not Win95. Seems like bundling is the least of the problems. More like rogue xmbs and english dirs overriding for some reason. I had to take a break from doing this stuff, but I'll look at it, but probably only be a little patch release if it works. Dude, don't break your back over it. I should learn how to do stuff like this on my own... WITH people's help of course.

I won't give up on it Ledanek... even if Grin gives up on me. Thanks. With NoQuarter's help I get it done.

EDIT: Ah, forget it.... some people shouldn't own PCs and stick to consoles... I see this too often these days in different forums. I was on PCs when YOU were crapping your pants you tool. Why did you guys change this?! You're the one who dropped the damn ball! Thanks for the nice shot in the thread and the ZERO help BTW. You're a real hero. Okay moderators... shoot this thread in the face and ban me now.

######... Okay... the unbundling procedure looks insane and I know I'll screw it up somehow. I need a command prompt to do it?! What is this... Windows 95? If I go with the damn 1.4 mod then I have f-ing unbundle EVERYTHING to fix my ammo loads... If I use the 1.41 mod I have to unbundle f-ing everything to fix my 40mm rounds. So basicly I'm screwed one way or the other................... sorry to vent but I just wanted to play the mod with my specs you know? Grin... I love you guys but WHY DID YOU HAVE TO SCREW WITH THIS?! Okay.... Lead the way NoQuarter... no sense putting it off... let's fix this and move on with our lives. Where is the bundle file for the 1.05 patch found?

It will work for all mods, regardless of the reason, or the version. The \Local\English directory overrides all of the programs default directories, including the \mods directory. No. Place your edited sb_weapon_data.xml directly in the \Local\english\sb_templates directory. An additional folder would not be recognized. Path *:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2\Local\english\sb_templates\sb_weapon_data.xml okay... What am I doing wrong. I copied the weapon_data.xml file from the mod. I changed the grenade clip values. I renamed the copied file sb_weapon_data.xml I inserted it into folder *:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2\Local\english\sb_templates\ I get the following crash as soon as I start a mission: Crash in application version: 30899.3048 data\lib\units\types\weapons\mountedbulletweapon.dsf(-1): cant find member: weapon_data in type <Unit> SCRIPT STACK: data\lib\units\types\weapons\mountedbulletweapon.dsf(0) data\lib\utils\worldunits.dsf(0) data\lib\utils\worldunits.dsf(0) data\lib\utils\worldunits.dsf(0) data\lib\setups\setup.dsf(0) data\lib\setups\setup.dsf(0) data\level\level.dsf(0) Renderer: threaded Physics : threaded

Is this the method we should use for mod version 1.41? I see the title of the thread is for 1.4 only. Can I simply copy the XML file with the correct grenade values into a folder inside an sb_template folder I put in the English folder?? Sorry about the double post moderators. Got too excited.

As usual, NoQuarter saves our bacon. Thanks!

As usual, NoQuarter saves our bacon. I'm having trouble locating the xml file. I know that a weapons file is in C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2\Local\bp_weapons_pack_v1.41\lib\managers\xml but my english folder is empty. I've freshly installed the game and patched it to 1.05. I can't find that damned sb_templates folder you tell us about. Is it because I didn't delete my old saved games? Could that be linked to the problem? Let me know ok? Anxious to get my grenades back!!! Thanks!

What program can unbundle this file type? -EDIT: Nevermind. Found it.

Does anyone know where the weapon XML file is after the 1.4 version mod? I had to switch back to the 1.4 over the 1.41 as I like having my m203 to have more than 1 40mm round. I want to tweak my ammo supply but for some reason the weapon XML file is gone! Either Windows XP's searcher can't find it or maybe its hidden somewhere??? Help!
