  1. any real tactical shooter shoudl be first person only....not only does it allow better response time to shooting..(how would u fair in real life if you were controlling yourself in third person? LOOL) but it also doesnt cover up your view. Not to mention how you can see around corners and crap thats just plain silly.

Narrow minded thinking at it's best.......Operation Flashpoint and the original Rainbow Six games allowed for 3rd person view if I recall correctly.

first off, its not un-fun as some1 brilliantly said

and second.....some1 said they'd like 3rd person for nice screenshots......ARE YOU SERIOUS? PLAY GOW for that or buy a 360....jesus thats the worst reason

Gee.....never thought of that...but what if I wanted screen shots of something OTHER than monsters and a gun with a chainsaw attached? Or don't have a 360? Or a way of taking good screen shots of console games?

and no......it doesnt make it unfun.....the ppl who like 360 version are not interested in what GRAW is supposed to be...a TACTICAL shooter. not GOW, not FEAR, not HL2....strategy is key, thats why its so hard....I hate the checkpoitns however..i'd like to see those out and instead much more intelligent and aggressive AI

Out of curiosity, have you even played the 360 version at all?

I really don't see what the big deal is if they put it in and make it an option that can be toggled first by server side, and if it's allowed on the server then by the client. That's like getting angry at McDonalds because they have ketchup on the side but you hate the stuff. I think the following line words it best.....

    OMFG teH pHeaR of change!!!

  2. 5. Dark Messiah Might and Magic

A great SP game, but the MP is lacking big time. The SP is one of the few games out there that does a good job of first person melee. The animations and environments are well done, even if the characters are somewhat shallow and the story flip flops at times. Short, but definitely a good break from the using first person shooter. If not for the bugs and a better MP, this would be rated higher.

    4. Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter

Need I say anything at all?

    3. Tomb Raider Legends

While the first two TR games were awesome, the later ones started a slippery downhill slope. This game jumps them right back up to the top. The graphics are fantastic and not too demanding for mostly high settings, the audio makes the game feel even better, and the varied levels are wonderful, especially when you get on a motorcycle. One of the best PC games of all time in my book.

    2. Hitman Blood Money

Splinter Cell but as an assassin instead of a spy. Tons of different ways to knock people off makes for every level giving a lot of replay and a lot of fun. Downside? SP only.

    1. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

What can I say? Large world, open ended, tons of variety, nothing ever feels the same. With the mods out there this makes it even better. Toss in the Knights of the Nine expansion and you have yourself a good 6 months of play time (assuming you play 6 hours a day 6 days a week).

  3. Gears Of War is a 3rd person "shooter". SHOOTER being the key word. There really aren't any tactics applied. Not in the way GRAW or Rainbow would be used.

This guy does a great job of explaining the problems.

    TPV Problem

    Here is his propsed fix.

    TPV FIX

Have you even actually played GoW? It's much more than just a shooter, especially if you try it at the higher difficulties.

  4. Ask and ye shall receive

If you just want it in a typical slide show fashion like PowerPoint, try Open Office. I've been using Open Office for years, and back in college it helped a LOT for doing presentations since I could use Impress (equivalent of PowerPoint). OO is basically a lighter, open source free version of Microsoft Office (including word processing, excel sheets, powerpoint presentations, and a few other things I'm forgetting).

EDIT: Master Album Maker expires after 15 days, but the viewer is freeware. Anything that's considered a try album maker would cost money from what I've seen, but there are other programs that you can use creatively to do the same thing.

  5. Ha! I WISH I ran this website. It's actually an Australian guy that runs it. Great guides overall, very thorough and he actually makes you learn what your doing without just saying "Do this for performance enhancements" like some male enhancement commercial. I've been a fan of the site for going on I think 4 years now.
