I used it on the 1.3 patch, but it works just as well on the 1.35 (I don't think I made alterations to it anyway). To get to the files that can be edited you need to download Nemons Bundle Extractor.

They may not seem like they are following you, but if you use the scroll wheel on your mouse and select the "Follow" order they will follow.

Mod tabs are only in the [Ghost Recon] ([GR], if you will). Mods in GRAW are automatically used if they are in the "english" folder of your GRAW/local directory.

To check your FPS download and install FRAPS (google it, it should be the first one up). After that, run FRAPS and the game and you will see yellow digits representing your FPS.

Some games do not officially support widescreen ratios. Even if they do not support it, do not worry, you can still play the game either stretched out across your screen or with blank borders around the edge of the screen. Check out the following like for more information on what games support widescreen, and if it's not then how to enable it if possible. http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/wiki/..._Games_List_-_A As a side note I've had a widescreen monitor for over 4 months now and there is no way I will EVER go back to a standard 4:3 or 5:4 ratio monitor.

-Ability to use AA (drop the deferred lighting) -Things should be visible from ALL distances (hate seeing shadows and garbage pop up 15m or so away) -Inclusion of real time rain, snow, and lightning effects (have it randomly drop snow every now and then) -Longer draw distance -Foot prints in mud/snow (not sure if this is already in but there isn't much mud and absolutely no snow to check) -More scalable options for those less fortunate people who can barely run the game -More use of the C4 to see more explosions (fire, fire!) -Less system intensive (if it looks slightly worse than GRAW

Interesting Coop problem, please help!
Nutlink replied to corey123's topic in GR:AW (PC) - Tech Support
Try using Hamachi (google it to find the download). What Hamachi does is create a secure network that acts like a LAN. This is a way to skip over Gamespy. Start up Hamachi, have your friend connect via Hamachi as well, and start a LAN game with your friend joining in. Hope this helps! -
Ouch. Are you looking for a freebie or retail product?

That is probably the most entertaining mouse killing story I've ever heard. Living out in the country when I was a kid, I've heard a lot. Nicely done!

From what I've seen id Software and Epic are the two main supporters of Linux for gaming. Here's a list of some Linux supported games and how to get them http://icculus.org/lgfaq/gamelist.php

I've always wondered this myself, but your best bet would be to skip out on the panhards and the likes in the count. That or someone could do a little more testing with to see how many they count for. I could try it, but give me a little time since it's been busy around the Nutlink household...

Feedback/Crashes with the v135 Patch
Nutlink replied to subaru swift's topic in GR:AW (PC) - General Discussion
Krackerjax, try uninstalling the game, defragging, and reinstalling the game. After you reinstall the game install only the 1.35 patch. Defrag after you install the patch and try it again. Hope this helps! -
To change a weapon from Primary to Secondary, go to data\lib\managers\xml and open up weapon_data.xml. Inside there look for <weapon_data disabled_by="disable_sniper" unit="barrett" name="barrett" weapon_id="1" inventory_slot="primary" gui_unit="barrett" price="800" damage="7" player_weapon="1" grenade="0" cal="127" wizby="5"> <bar_stats accuracy="0.5" stability="1" weight="9" impact="0.8" /> <stats caliber="12.7 x 99 mm" rpm="" velocity="850 m/s" firemodes="SS" capacity="1" info="info_barrett" /> <mods front="false" top="true" bottom="false"> <

Depending on what you do, that is a great upgrade. Personally I have a Athlon X2 4800+ and feel the dual core was worth it (purchased for $290 on Newegg as well). Anyone with a S939 mobo really should consider that CPU if they're running anything less than a Athlon 64 3700+.
-
I imagine it'll be relatively close to what GRAW currently has, especially if they're using the diesel engine again (which I am almost certain they are). Of course, if my dual 7900GTX's can't run the game at 1680x1050 I'm going to be rather unhappy.

Tell me the truth, the community the truth.

Actually, AMET Balamir, he's saying that he wishes he had MORE time to work on the game, implying that it's NOT finished. -
After you render your map, unbundle it and edit the .tga picture. After that, just rebundle it and your good to go! Bundler tutorial found here: http://www.ghostrecon.net/forums/index.php...&hl=bundler

Well i know at least 1 Video card manufacturer that make mainboards but isn't heard of much. EVGA. I own both a EVGA motherboard and video card. While their video cards are great (and the Step-Up program is awesome if you end up with a little extra cash and decided to do another upgrade within 3 months), their motherboards leave something to be desired. My nf41 board has some quirky issues that I can never seem to repeat. I also found out that this board is basically a re-branded Jetway board. Same with the nf47. Of the 680i boards, I'd rather go with one from Asus for $50 more consid

While I do agree with what you are saying, I don't think this belongs in the GRAW 2 forum since you only mention [GR] and GRAW

How to transfer "Favorites" to new pc
Nutlink replied to Cpl Ledanek's topic in Computer Discussions
What I usually do is go to "Bookmarks" followed by "Organize Bookmarks." When the Bookmarks Manager comes up click on "File" then "Export." Once it's saved somewhere, burn it to a disc (with any other stuff you want to save of course). After you reinstall Firefox follow the steps again except instead of "Export" click on "Import" and locate the exported save. If that helps any -
Improvements I'd like to see for the game
Nutlink replied to surag198's topic in GR:AW 2 (PC) - General Discussion
Easy Rabbi, you just need to place the trigger point further away from where they spawn. Another thing that helps is having them spawn in little areas where you wouldn't be able to see them without being almost right in front of them (think of an L shape). My personal idea? Make the AI a LOT smarter and put in fewer of them. I'd rather take on 40-50 smart AI than 100+ what we have now, even with a 12 person server. I've been working on altering this kind of stuff for some time now, and it's working out rather well. -
My guess is your drivers or the monitor is going out. But that's only a guess.

Improvements I'd like to see for the game
Nutlink replied to surag198's topic in GR:AW 2 (PC) - General Discussion
Just a little side not for this - you have to edit the clipping distance for the characters (ghosts, Mex's, presidents) to see them at a distance. I've tested out seeing a Mex at over 500m without a problem Bigger maps and less linear levels would make for a very big improvement with just those alone. -
It all depends on how it's implemented, but I'm very leery about the whole medic thing. I hope there's going to be a server option to turn medics on and off. Look on the bright side though, maybe with medics coming in we MIGHT actually get a good damage model (ie limping, affected aiming, etc).
