While I do wish for true AA and don't really care for the edge smoothing, I'm still glad it's there for those who do like it. Playing at a higher resolution (1280x1024 or higher) makes the jaggies much less noticeable, but that's not always an option. Go Grin for doing what they could with what they had available.

Happens in BF2 all the time (especially on release) but they don't argue about it, at least not as much. If I would have to drop my resolution down a notch to play at full draw distance, I'll do it.

I really hope so. The coop is what will make or break this game for me. Don't get me wrong, I like what I see, but if the coop isn't any good the game will only last me a few months instead of at least a year.

Read the first post, it's implied that there will be no medic in GRAW 2 from Bo.

It would be nice if forming up in a squad in [GR] Coop (or whatever it's called now) actually meant something, ie the squad leader could give orders and communicate with other squad leads.

Yes, but when it spotted an enemy it would zoom in on them. If there were multiple enemies it would zoom in on one, zoom out, and zoom in on the next.

I liked the way Splinter Cell Chaos Theory handled it. You could save, but once you exit the server the save disappeared. This allowed people to not have to start at the beginning of the mission when they died.

Fun game. But I have to say....this thread holds the longest resurrection I've ever seen (almost 4 years to the day). Made me laugh.

The orange tip law varies from state to state. In some states you are allowed to remove the orange tip if you are in a designated area, in others you are required to have it at all times, and in some cities airsoft guns are even illegal. The orange tip is REQUIRED by US law to be on during transport and sale (basically for when you get one shipped from anywhere). It is best to check with your local law enforcement before painting the orange tip though.

I'm glad to have been corrected on the 1 mission for Coop deal. 12 players with multiple objectives and paths....assuming the editor is fully functional I'm going to be spending more time with the editor than I am playing the actual game. Oh, the ideas I'm having..... Too bad there isn't a plug-in for Maya PLE or GMax or Blender or some free 3D program...

Unfortunately there really isn't anything you can do Ledanek. Your best bet would be to buy an off center scope. That'll run you about $30-$40 I think. I know I've seen one for about $40, but I can't remember where. If I find it again, I'll let you know. Thanks Foxtrot. That part right there bothers me. It appears to be GRAW 1 all over again with coop. Only 4 players for the campaign coop and only one objective in [GR] coop? That really blows, unless they allow for more scripting options and variables this time around.

I just finished upgrading my JLS SCAR tonight. I removed the outer barrel and replaced it with a metal flash hider, so now it's more CQB worthy. I put in a new Prometheus 280mm tightbore barrel in with a one piece CA metal hop up and a Mad Bull bucking. To make things better, I dropped in a CA mechbox and motor, so the thing is purring like a kitten and firing pretty decent. Just need a 9.6v battery to up the rate of fire, and I'll be using it in a skirmish hopefully. Considering I received the gun for free and all the parts cost me less than $200, I'm very happy with this weapon. If o

BTW, I just realized that they said that the Call of Juarez part was utilizing DX10....is there a patch coming soon that'll give Vista/Call of Juarez players the ability to use some DX10 features or will this be a separate release? Sorry fred, I don't think it is. I know part of the weapon files changed when we were given the ability to ban certain weapons, but that's the only thing I think that broke it. If you know how to mod it's possible to adjust the little things here and there to get it to work.

Just remember that this card is on par with a 8800GTS in both performance and price, but has a little more for the enthusiast out there. I hope the HD2900XTX is worth the wait..... Well, try dropping to your stomach and getting up as fast you can.....with a vest, ammo, weapon, etc loaded up. Also, try running and dropping a magazine while pulling a fresh one out and slapping it it. It's possible, but very difficult. And yes, you can break the reload procedure as long as you start running BEFORE your character puts in a new magazine. The main point is that this game is more accurate than most when it comes to realism, and the points you suggested really don't fit in with this game style. Psssst..........a damage model would work wonders for the game....

Because it takes a gun that was useless before and makes it useful, which for a lot of people is like adding a new weapon anyway. Not to mention the textures and the added red dot on the thing anyway.
