Something is wrong with the G36 weapon. I'm not sure if it's a typo in the weapon stats file, something in the templates, lib/manager/xml, or possibly even the texture.

Did this for GRAW 1 from the start with my 2x7900GTX cards, and I have to say I didn't think it looked as good as GRAW 2 And if you want a GRAW tweaking article, click on my sig and look on the left of the site.

GRAW 2 PC preview and 19 new screens.
Nutlink replied to WITCHER's topic in GR:AW 2 (PC) - General Discussion
Nice! I love the team selection screen....and carrying capacity..... EDIT: And the debriefing screen? Evacuated Ghosts and special achievements? Hmmm... -
Newegg.com, but I suggest either saving up a little more for a 320mb 8800GTS or possibly even a 8600GT.

Creative Labs Zen Nano Plus: anyone use this?
Nutlink replied to Cpl Ledanek's topic in Computer Discussions
I personally use a SanDisk Sansa e250 and love the thing. Definitely worth the $97 I spent on it. -
Official announcement of the demo no the GRAW UK site http://ghostrecon.uk.ubi.com/

And like I said, you're comparing apples to oranges. It's different gameplay wise by a LOT, and that's what counts IMO. GRAW 2 on the PC is more of a tactical shooter, while GRAW 2 on the 360 is more like a slightly less arcadish version of Halo.
-
Not the multiple insertions. Comparing GRAW 2 on the PC and the XBox 360 is like comparing Rainbow Six Vegas to Rainbow Six Raven Shield. They may be from the same genre, but they play completely differently, each with their own ups and downs.
-
Theres your difference Tang, a beta is for finding bugs while a demo is for testing if you like the game or not.

GR:AW 3 - what, when, where?
Nutlink replied to chilly-willy's topic in GR:AW 2 (PC) - General Discussion
I wouldn't mind seeing the next Rainbow Six, Ghost Recon, and Splinter Cell all tie in together with the storyline of the new EndWar. As long as they make it believable though. -
graw1 pc & graw2 pc difference ?
Nutlink replied to youngtube's topic in GR:AW 2 (PC) - General Discussion
But do you honestly think that is worth the $150? I didn't, and until I have a wad of money burning a hole in my pocket or I see it supported by more than a hand full of games (even less of which I play) I just can't justify spending the money on it. Although I admit I would like to have one, lol. -
Read the text better folks, it states the following: Coming June 7th all FilePlanet users will be able to download the upcoming demo for Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2. Take control of the U.S. military's elite fighting unit in 2014, the Ghosts. Neutralize the rebel threat! The only thing subscribers get is the advantage of not having to wait for a download server to open a spot for them and they can use the autodownloader to have it auto download on release even if they are away from the computer. It's available for all at that time

how can YOU even compare XP SP3 to GRAW2? XP SP3 has been known about for about two years. 2006 was milling about SP3 and the ...Security,system and other new features like...ahem WINFS(wasn't that a feature supposed to be a part of Vista? ) . So yes, I'm a bit perplexed nutlink. GRAW2 is a game whilst XP SP3 is a total system improvement. Dare I say that? edited out typos If it's a total system improvement, I think it would take longer to get right, especially when it comes to security, something a game doesn't have to worry about on nearly as large a scale.
-
So you're complaining that SP3 is being delayed just like, oh, GRAW 2 was several times? Or 99% of the software out there? What if someone developing something for Linux decided to delay their project for a few months? Oh wait, noes! Its teh Microsoft!

graw1 pc & graw2 pc difference ?
Nutlink replied to youngtube's topic in GR:AW 2 (PC) - General Discussion
That's it right there. I've never used one, but I've seen them in action in GRAW, and honestly I think it's a waste of money. If you want to and have the money for it, go ahead, but it really isn't worth it at this point. -
Err....didn't GRAW 1 have 2 MP modes at release? Domination and Campaign Coop?

MS recently slipped in a press release stating that Windows XP will have a third service pack. The initial press release stated the wrong date though, so a MS spokeswoman corrected that. SP3 SP3 Release Date Windows Service Pack Road Map Edit: Added in the road map link.

have unfair AI advantages been neutralized?

I wish they would. It really pulls you out of the immersion to be spotted behind a bush in the dark while standing still from over 50m away. -

Ouch....maybe it is just bad bleeding. Either that particular monitor model isn't very good or yours might be a lemon then. IMO it might be just a bad monitor. Also, do you have it connected via DVI or D-Sub or DVI converter?
-
Nope. Try getting a hold of every author of every mod you have included and you'll be ok though
-
I had a blurry text issue with my nVidia drivers a while back. What version are you using now? You could try the 94.24 and see if that makes a difference. http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_94.24.html
-
Just putting in names in the read me isn't good enough. You definitely need to get a hold of all the authors and ask for their permission. This was an issue with a previous mod several months ago, so if one of the authors throws a fit you'll be forced to take it down. I highly suggest asking for permission first before posting a download link.
