Look for the bundling tutorial in the general mods section. Just re-bundle the map after you make the adjustments

I don't think people are really against having a medic too much, it's just the fear of having the BF2 style medic in game. Personally if they did it right I wouldn't mind it, but that would, in my mind, require a nice injury model as well.

You're probably thinking of GRAW 1 (since GRAW 2 isn't out yet). In that case, try using the search function of the forums or try the GRAW 1 forums

Will there be an 'igor' in GRAW 2 ?
Nutlink replied to mordred's topic in GR:AW 2 (PC) - General Discussion
That's how I learned scripting for GRAW Tinker, and that's probably how I'll learn the advanced scripting in GRAW 2 (like setting up a new gametype). -

1) AI doesn't complain about getting it's butt kicked 2) Missions can be set up for more along the lines of realism rather than a game mode like Assault vs Recon 3) You don't need more than 2 people for coop 4) Coop teamwork and Adversarial teamwork are completely different in strategy 5) Game immersion - you get that feeling of being a special forces unit rather than a kid running around at your local paintball field 6) Less chance of cheating, and if they are cheating you're not the one being directly penalized for it There's more, but thats just off the top of my head -
Hindsight is always 20/20. When they released the demo it was probably to see if the general public liked the game overall, while the beta was for squashing bugs.

You might want to turn off the AA, GRAW and GRAW 2 (demo, probably full version as well) do not support it due to the use of deferred lighting.

Meh, it's done when it's done. That's what I said about Half-Life 2, Doom 3, STALKER, Oblivion, Call of Duty 2, Armed Assault, and plenty of other games. Pushing the date back from March to June, then from June to July isn't a big deal compared to something like, say, Duke Nukem Forever.

MP Demo Feedback + Discussion
Nutlink replied to Cangaroo.TNT's topic in GR:AW 2 (PC) - General Discussion
I love how the GL has only 2 nades now though. It works out rather well, although I do agree it is a little too accurate. If you had to flip up the sights or risk having it fly all over like bullets that would be a different story. -

Field of view / Widescreen issue
Nutlink replied to Paddywak's topic in GR:AW 2 (PC) - General Discussion
[GR] recognizes the WS resolutions, but it doesn't handle it properly. GRAW 1 handled WS way better than [GR], but [GR] still handles WS better than BF2 (pretty much any game that allows for custom resolutions does). -
On the screen that you select what weapons to take, look at the third tab on the far right. In there you can select the Zeus. The helicopter you get it from should be on the roof of the parking garage.

Yeah we did. There's something about running into someone you know from previous games or forums that just draws your crosshairs to them. -

When I wake up in the morning, if this thread is still here I know I'm not dreaming. Ruggbutt saying he's going to buy GRAW 2? I have to lay off the acid.... I'm glad to see that this game, just from the MP demo, seems to be winning over former [GR] players again. This gives me some home that the Clancy franchises aren't ruined completely by Vegas and Double Agent. -

You can snipe just fine with the SCAR-L, M416 or G36K as well Roco. Rx4 Damage - 1.45 Recoil - .3 Zoom Speed - 1.6 SCAR-L Damage - 1.45 Recoil - .3 Zoom Speed - 1.5 G36K Damage - 1.25 Recoil - .34 Zoom Speed - 1.6 M416 Damage - 1.4 Recoil - .3 Zoom Speed - 1.6 Looking at the numbers, the SCAR-L is a better sniper than the Rx4, but the Rx4 also has the downsides of a bigger dot and smaller view. I understand these numbers may change by release, but this is how it is in the demo -

will an 8800GTS fit ? & what PSU is OK ?
Nutlink replied to Kakanater's topic in Computer Discussions
I would not risk it, not with a 375w PSU. Plus you don't have to spend $100 on a PSU that will work, although if you are willing to spend $100, I suggest something like a 600W OCZ or Seasonic. -
Problems with grenades + GL's
Nutlink replied to mcsquared's topic in GR:AW (PC) - General Discussion
The grenade launcher is a separate weapon to select, just like selecting the secondary, hand grenades, or Zeus. Once you have it selected the crosshair goes from the circle with 4 lines on each side to 3 or 4 horizontal lines. I doubt anyone can make it any clearer....except through a movie. I would, but I don't have GRAW 1 installed. -

Anytime Rabbi, just glad to see you around again and know you're alright CTU JackBauer brought up another good point, the scope on the Rx4. "on the RX-4 weapon system , there is a 2x red dot scope . the dot is far larger than on the 30 mm red dot scope found on the mp5 or g36 , and the objective lens is smaller than that of the 30 mm . im wondering why the scope is so small in objective lens size and why the dot is so big , its almost impossible to aim without alot of training ,and while i intend to train with GRAW 2 , i think the lens should be modified , and the dot made smaller . its -
Watching "Waiting" lately, have we? I personally don't care if it's not released until next year, I've waited longer for games (STALKER, UT3, Crysis, Half-Life 2, Doom 3, Duke Nukem Forever, Oblivion, etc etc). But a coop/sp demo would be nice

Premade kits aren't going to be in every game mode. In SP, for example, you'll be able to put your weapon together the way you want like GRAW 1. Besides, it might end up being a server option, and if it isn't it might be possible to script a custom TDM game type that allows for customizable weapons. That, and kits can vary from map to map thanks to the scripting, so we'll see what finally happens.

Look at the pictures from CR6s link.....I like the look of that map. Tropical island setting, blowing up watch towers, I'm tempted to check out a physx card soon.

where can i read about co-op?
Nutlink replied to cajun47's topic in GR:AW 2 (PC) - General Discussion
While this argument is about as pointless as it can get, I still consider coop MP, even though I understand what Doc is saying. Just look on the back of any game that has coop, it'll state something along the lines of "New Coop and Multilayer modes and features" or some such, distinctly separating the two. I've never been much of one to follow industry standards though. Just ask the RIAA
