  1. Thank you for the e-mail list Belial, I sent a one to each of them. I cannot thing of any good reason for this. I will not be buying GRAW 2 until it hits the $20 mark now due to this (which at Ubi's rate will be damn quick). I can stick with Armed Assault for a while until Ubisoft either falls (killing the Clancy franchise) or comes to their senses. In the mean time I've returned Call of Juarez and Resident Evil 4 (although I still have copies :pirate: ). Good job Ubi, you've destroyed much of what you could be simply by the reputation following poor products and even poorer support.

  2. Yeah, I'm still running the GX2. I want to upgrade, and sell off the GX2 to get the GTS, but I haven't had the chance to. So it's some kind of SLi problem then?

Also, what kind of framerates are you getting with the GTS in ArmA? I'm hovering around 25-35 fps depending on where I'm at (in singleplayer). It goes down to around 20 when in vegetation.

With GRAW in the SP demo I'm getting a minimum of 40-42ish, but average at least 50+ (all high settings, 1680x1050). In the MP demo I'm at a low of 45ish with an average of 60+ (same as SP demo for settings). In ArmA I'm getting 25-30 in heavy vegetation, but average usually 40+ (medium settings, 1680x1050).

I remember this conversation coming up before, about the FPS changes with settings being changed, and I recall hearing that it will be fixed in the final version. We'll see though.

  3. The game and demos are about "TEAM" work and not the lone wolf, if you want that, then you want a different game. All those that can't work with the team need to "change tact", they are there for a reason, and it's not to leave them behind. Like in real life you have to learn to work with people diffrent to yourself, especially if you want max points... but that's another story.

So you don't think they'll be a lone wolf mission like GRAW 1? Or the option to go alone like [GR]? Or even a lone wolf game type like previous Clancy titles? Come on, if the game is this easy on the hardest difficulty by yourself there's a problem with that, first mission or otherwise. Like the picture shows though, everything was done just as well, if not better than I would with an AI squad on the hardest difficulty, and yet I still got an award for Leader, it shows that they were evacuated (when they were never there) and with high stats and a low grade, it makes me wonder how one is graded for a mission and whether the stats are bugged or not.

  4. not really a bug cause debris does not kill i think, but a truck should be deadly when it lands on you of any other, right ??

Same goes for the sand bags when a grenade goes off next to them. When they fell down the cliff it didn't harm my teammates beneath. Not a big deal (more of a relief than anything at the time), but it kind of pulls you out of the immersion.

  5. Or you could just not assign any Ghosts to your squad right from the get-go. When you end the mission though, it'll say that they've been evacuated. I'm confused as to how you are graded though. Check out this picture of how I finished a round on hardcore.

How can one end a mission with 97% accuracy, 36/40 instant kills, 88% stealth not get shot, and get all four achievements but only get a rank of a D? Was it because I didn't bring teammates, so it automatically assumed they were killed? Since I didn't bring any teammates, why did I get the "Leader" achievement then (especially if that's the case for the low grade)? I used the quick-save once that entire mission. I did it with a suppressed M14, MP5SD/Red Dot (never used), M9/Suppressor (never used), M61 grenades (used all) and smoke grenades (used all).

  6. Smoke is an EXCELLENT tool. In GRAW, though, it didn't necessarily obscure as it should- I'm told it had NO effect in actuality on the enemy's aim. I'm wondering if it works as an obscurant tool this time...

It seemed so to me. I threw a smoke nade in the middle of the street, and while the AI noticed something was amiss (they started moving and pulled up their weapons) they didn't shoot at either myself or my team until we cleared the smoke.

  7. The Ghosts still don't follow orders very well, at least from the map overview, but if you give it to them from the helmet camera they respond a LOT better. Also, a couple of things I've noticed:

They finally use the grenade launcher, but they use it when in recon mode as well instead of using a silenced weapon.

I'll hear the beep as if I tagged the enemy, but I don't see the red diamond unless I look on the cross com, then it's there.

Sometimes when I bring the scope up on the SCAR-L it'll have the crosshairs as well as the red dot. Happened twice with the SCAR-L, but not with any other weapon.
