Au contraire. I'm just offering the forum an opportunity to see how the real world currently perceives AW outside the cosy forum bubble.
I'm not whining myself - just trying to illustrate that in the real world, those who have already 'buyed and tried' - or are thinking of 'buying and trying' - would perceive things much differently to those reading the hopeful, upbeat threads of the forum with their promises of future patches and features. I argue that more people have read the former than the latter.
Anyway, may I make a suggestion? If you want this thread to die - then don't post to it. Let it fall off the front page and onto the uncharted waters of pages 4-5 onwards. After all, a glimpses of the real world can sometimes be harmful.

Seriously, what's the point of this thread?
Just for awareness of how the wider game-buying public are perceiving and rating AW. Thought I'd throw it in as I reckon a lot more people will be likely to look on sites like Amazon to read an unbiased review of a game from their peers - rather than seek out a dedicated forum or sponsored game-site.
And these people matter - they represent the hordes who are willing (or not) to put their hands into their pockets and keep this thing afloat.
You can have as much faith in UBI/GRIN as you like; keep saying they're doing a great job; keep saying you'll wait and you'll be patient for the patches. But the blind faith and devotion of a few won't amount to much if the tills aren't ringing the the sound of AW steadily marching off the shelves. And from those reviews, it seems unlikely.
You hate this game so much your scour (okay, Amazon is not exactly "scouring") the internet just to find negative reviews to prove you are right and everyone else is wrong. You talk about blind faith, devotion, and on and on, but crissakes, can't a guy just like the ######ing game without you thinking he's an idiot?

I can't speak for everyone, but I know that the success of [GR] was because of the online community.

I didn't kill myself because I wanted to see if anything happened, or if I could trigger the game to end somehow..Sry for keeping you all waiting for the 3-4 minutes...
For the record, I was not the one complaining. I try not to do that in a server for which someone else is paying. A little repect is due the people footing the bill.

BUG REPORT
In Domination (Shanty town) with limited spawns, the game did not end when all but 1 player was alive (me)...To end the game I had to either run around and capture all zones (which were many) or kill myself (=boring).
Probably it needs to be verified one more time, but as far as I could see all others had maxed out on deaths...

Complaints are obviously justified....
Some are, while others are not. The problem arises when the same complaints are posted in multiple threads, and when they do not advance the initial topic of the thread.
Why does every thread end up the same way?
Dangit, these fixes take time to take care of... They have to do their testing before release too...
Yeah, EA screwed up BF2 with their latest patch, and now they released a BETA of patch 1.4 (I think). Don't tell me a beta of a patch isn't a disaster waiting to happen.

People complaining about the people complaining for sure...
The problem is not people complaining per se. The problem is that certain people are persistent complainers and do so at every given opportunity. Take THIS THREAD for example.
Someone asks a simple question, and right away someone starts taking swipes at the game/developer/whatever, and do nothing to benefit the topic. The same point/complaint had been made numerous times before and since.
That, my friend, is why people start threads like "Getting tired of People complaining...."

I'd rather GRiN take their time with patches to make sure they:
1) Work right
2) Fix what they're intended to fix
3) Avoid unintended consequences
Every patch for BF2 created more problems than it solved, and made the game (for me) unenjoyable.

Cangaroo you say you wasted money on this game ect ect well time is money and your wasting your time re hashing the same lame points over and over that wont' change and really can't change so stop wasting more of your money and move on either take the game for what it is/ can be with some more patches or move on

You also need to just understand that some of these guys spent 5 years playing a "Ghost Recon" branded game.
I don't know if it was your intent, but you are describing people that have invested so much of their lives in a GAME that they have come to be DEFINED by it; They are what they play.
If that is the case...it's been stated before...GET A LIFE!

guys, serisously, im sorry the game isnt all that you wanted it to be but I hope that in time you will see that its not [GR] but a good game and that you can enjoy it for that.
