Just to clarify, it is not a "kill cam" that's been implemented. It's a "death cam", being able to spectate through the eyes of your remaining team mates when you are dead and have no respawns left.
A killcam is anti-tactical but a deathcam is useful for no-respawns or limited respawns games. It could be also helpful to spot some cheaters. Excellent ! Good job !
It is the first compliment I do about GRAW therefore it is time to criticize
Just add several non-yellow maps in nature and I'll buy another GRAW copy for my girlfriend.

Ideal server settings:
- no respawns
- 5 mn
- limited number of nades (GL & hand nades)
I think that no respawns is the key to have the best tactical games, and despite the lack of a deathcam, dead players will wait because the games won't take too much time.

A "No explosives" option or a limited number of nades (6) like in GR1 would be perfect.
I hate to be killed by these missile spammers. "Manual" nades are 1000 times funnier. I like to be killed by manual nades, and sometimes I have enough time to run or to turn around a corner to avoid the explosion.
Another solution is to have balanced weapons like in GR1. Remember, the grenade launcher was only associated with the OICW: a weapon without a close zoom and without a silencer.
In GRAW weapons are not balanced: it is possible to have the nade launcher, the zoom and the silencer. And to resupply during the game.

Better performance in summer 2007 because GRAW takes place in the future ?
Pheeww... I'm lucky to not play one of these role-playing games. I can't imagine PC performance at the middle-age !
Perhaps it is a game optimzed for high-end and future PCs, but it was not written on the box and I bought it last month, not in summer 2007.

There are no cheaters in GRAW, only skilled players. Please apologize now.

In GR1 the replay was not a video replay. It used the graphical engine and it was possible to see the matchs from all players point of views.
Even in the very old Quake 1 (10 years ago) there was an option to record actions and replay them with the internal engine.
Replays + Lot of clans and their dedicated servers (+no respawns and nature maps ^^) = Sane matchs

Since patch 1.20 the official servers have been renamed with suffixes like CHI, DAL, EU, SJO, TAC. What does it mean ?
EU(ro) ? (best ping for me 50-60)
DAL ? (160)
CHI(na) ? (170)
TAC ? (180)
SJO ? (worst ping 210)
I read the official graw homepage but didn't find explantions.

It is just a game, for kids and adults, hardcore and casual gamers.
Really please accept my apoligies EgoZack and don't become mad because of my mistake about you. It is just blah blah on forums. For me it closed.
Btw I have tested a less frustating gamestyle: If one of these damn powerful hardcore gamers is running to the north, I'm running to the south in the opposite direction to have more "regular" fights.

In fact I'm very disapointed there was only 1 server saturday night. With extremly good players like you (running & killing, always 20-25 kills when the average is 5 - on all maps and during hours) , it is not funny at all to play online (even in the same team with you).
No others servers => no choice => no fun
And we are adults, you don't need to say "noob" in each sentence. Just write "No I don't cheat you're wrong, just try to have a tactical gameplay !".

GRAW anticheat is basic.
Since 1.20 UBI official servers have anticheat activated (correct me if I'm wrong) but cheaters are still here.
This night there was only 1 domination server with 20+ players, and 1 cheater on it (***EGO_ZACK***).
The best anticheat is not an automatical or supertechnical anticheat. Like on GR1, GRIN should just add the deathcam so other players can easely spot a cheater (+kick/ban for admins or vote for public servers), and a replay for clans vs clans.

In Europe, in the evening there are only 1,2 or 3 domination servers with 20 or more players. Only 50-100 online players for the whole europe looks like a failure for a new game.
My girlfriend likes GRAW and she sometimes plays with my account, but she says there are no players the afternoon. I wanted to offer her GRAW to play online with me, but now I hesitate.
I'll reinstall GR1 on our PCs and I hope there are enough GR1 servers (to choice a server with the rules we like), but this "workaround" is not the one we are waiting for...
Whatever the actual issues are, I think the lack of a big enough online PC community should be the main concern for UBI/GRIN.

I'm European (French). I was never in a clan but was very happy to play GR1 on european servers against ZOO, Dire, etc... There were some good french teams too (F&H, DGSE, etc...) that don't play GRAW because of lack of *Ghost*/Tactical gameplay and content (forest, mountains)
There were almost no cheaters, the game was tactical (No respawns) and never boring (Death cam).
Perhaps GRAW is the best actual tactical/action/modern military FPS game but it does not compare to GR1. Servers are full of cheaters, the basic anticheat is not even activated on official UBI servers. No comment.
I understand that MP players and clans are disapointed and leave.
Yesterday at 6pm there were only two (2 !) GRAW european servers (Domination) with more than 20 players.

I tried to download map packs from SoK and BDA but theses packs are in .exe format. For security reasons there are many people who won't download that. Please provide a zip file and we'll be happy to join your server, play with and against you and give you our feedback !
