  2. What!? LOL Disrespectfull? give me a break, Respect? personaly my respect went out the window after the first patch recall. Respect? Frown is the "A" team right, you do get payed for this right? What a great racket I paid for the a game and get to be the guinea pig? quality control-- A system for ensuring the maintenance of proper standards in manufactured goods, especially by periodic random inspection of the product. Its a new concept I hear its really catching on, you all might like to try it 3 months 4 patches and this was the "Mother of all patches" How about the "Makers" working with the "Makers" Thats also a new concept it goes like this "Bob I am doing X,Y & Z in the next patch. Gee, Sally if you do that then its going to do this in this part of the program. O' my Bob lets work to solve this problem." Keep up the great work Grinn errr Frown

  8. 1 try unticking the planer move box this makes the object snap at the correct level 2 reduce the snap from 100 to 25 and give it a go
  9. You need about 4gigs to do a hi rez render how much do you have? med. 3 pass is fine .. trust me
  10. Nope it works great. The cloud spray is the one that knocks it down. A note the smoke effect should be use sparingly it can drag you fps down if over used. its a bit of a balancing act
  11. Thanks Viiiper, it took me many hours of testing to figure out the how to get the smoke and mist to fall right. You can do this be picking a smoke or mist from the brush prop section and placing it under the map. Simply lower a static down 7-10 taps works well if you wish to have a dust storm effect like the one in Hypoxia and use the industial effects spray A With the static in place you can set the smoke or mist by spraying it on top of the static. The smallest road square works great. The spread that works well is to form a squar 6 x 6 and place a static in the center of it. X------X ----X X------X X= Spray - = space It should look like this. Place it under a large building so that the effect looks more natural. Their you have it. Stop by the BDA Mapping section with any questions Maj3stic
  12. Sorry Rocky you have the maps now. Noguarter the sand storm is like roto-wash, it rolls and flowes just like the real deal
  13. The action takes place in a top secret research facility based in Nogales Mexico. In this facility a deadly genetically altered form of Ebola has fallen into enemy hands. As the fates would have it, a blinding sand storm and a precision air strike has pinned the enemy down. It is your team’s mission to infiltrate the facility and eliminate the threat with extreme prejudice. The map will come also in a clear version.
  14. The new patch has changed the start weapon from the m8 to a pistol. I am trying to set the server back to having the m8 as the default. Does anyone know how to do this without "modding" and simply make it as a server side setting? More exactly ,Were is the default start weapon file / line and can it be changed without the world coming to an end?
