  1. Hi,

    Mission_storm worked great for me, and thanks for the mod.

    However, I can't seem to get misson_canyon to work even though the files have been placed in the custom_levels folder as directed. Am I missing something?

    The game loads fine but there's no sign of the canyon mod in the campaign list though storm is there -- and restarting the level doesn't seem to have any effect. I'm also running brettzie's weapon pack and the nocom mod.

    Not a lot of experience with gaming so any help is greatly appreciated

  2. Well, I fired it up on patch 1.21 and Mod 2.0...removed the ROM, and the 151 Armoury Mod and the same thing happened. The Prez is still not moving.

    Looks like I going to have to uninstall, kill all saved games, defrag, write over the files, reinstall and start fresh going straight to patch 1.21 and Jason's Mod 2.0.

    Thanks for all the advice, guys. We'll see how it goes in a few days...

  3. With one of the mods I've installed, JasonFMX's (is that right), I think things may have changed.

    In Ready For Bear getting the tank drivers has been completely bypassed. I don't know if this if what is supposed to happen.

    After clearing the way to the first checkpoint, I should have gone on to retrieve the tank crew but after gunning down about 20 Tangos rather easily (they all seemed to run into my firelane), the tanks can be heard revving up and then suddenly appear, ready to head for the tunnel.

    I don't mind cos the crew were a bear to control (oft mentioned on this site). So I don't really miss this part at all. After that gameplay is normal.

  4. Unfortunately, I can't do that. When I approach him it's like he's not there. I go straight through him.

    When I mentioned that gunfire does not affect him, I should have said that all you hear is bullets hitting the wall and not flesh like he's vapour. Tossing a grenade moves him but doesn't kill or damage him or even spoil his hair.

  5. Hi, hope this is the right spot for this.

    After a recent re-install of the game up to 1.20 and running the ROM, Jason's mod and the 151 Armory skins mod, everything's been going smoothly.

    However, during Quarterback, a problem has appeared. All opposition is down and I've got the President waiting in the building's foundation, but he is now holding the M8 (not the Glock of previous games) and seems to be stuck in the wall. He won't follow me to the pickup helicopter which means the triggers can't be set for the next part of the game.

    He doesn't react to gunfire when hit, and while using grenades will get him out of the wall, he just picks himself up and arches his back at almost 90 degrees with his weapon pointing up. A few times he's even become part of the foundations...

    When I get home, I'll try to get some screenshots.

    Does anyone have any clues as to where the error may lie and a possible solution? Failing this I may have to reinstall again and start from scratch.

    Also anyone have any pointers on the best way to move around the tac map ... the oblique angle is great -- I can just never figure out which way to move my mouse for the best view...?

    One more thing, why does Control Panel show that Graw.exe and the Graw Patch run to about 12gigs each in size? That's one big bite of my hard disk.

  6. Hi, first time here...though I've lurked for a couple of weeks. I'm fairly new to gaming. Call of Duty 2 was the only game I had played before buying this game. So really, I know nothing and deserve to be called noob.

    I only go SP cos MP frightens me, frankly, and after two weeks of trying to outwit the game decided it wasn't worth it and found God Mode (I forget where I got that info but thanks.) Made things a lot easier.

    Here's my problem. Since then I have downloaded Agent Smith's ROM fix, which was also great and ran pretty well. I also dl'd your mod and installed it. However, after that my Tac map was skewed with ramped-up colours, even though the brightness level was way down.

    What I'd like to know is this: is there a conflict with the two mods or are they compatible?

    Also, I lost god mode even though the xml still reads "true".

    I ran version 1.2 with Agent Smith's mod, then installed yours and updated to 1.21. This may have been my mistake.

    I have a copy of the mod folder before I applied your mod, does this help me? I renamed your folder and re-used the original. But now the sepia effect has returned. Should I just reinstall and start over? Can anyone help? What are my options?

    Any and all help gratefully received and apologies for probably jumping in too fast with gaming.
