  3. yes i have already started working on the sewer stuff. like pipes, and garbage stuff like that thank you guys i will have more screen shots of some of the other maps about 10 in total
  4. The [aces] MapPack 2 will be coming soon. All maps will be TDM and or HH here are a few shot from one of the maps new screenshots will be coming soon. MAP: aces_Base Day Discription: this base has 4 wall openings and 2 sewer entrances in the base you can also enter the base from an outside sewer entrance. MAP: aces_base (night) discription: same as day
  5. yes since it already uses the GRAW domination script. however i have already decided to redo the maps in the GRAW TDM when it is released and also make them HH maps as well

  10. I see you have put my outpost map in your mappack. I am not upset about it but a request would have been nice. takin someones work and releasing it even if it's just a mappack requires the permission of the map maker. some mappers will find it a sort of slap in the face to have there work released in a map pack without there permission. I don't mind it is there in your mappack and i am not asking you to take it out but i am releasing my own mappack and would like you to ask next time thats all.
  11. you people putting map packs together should be asking for permission to do so. these maps are made with alot of time and effert of the mappers, and you should not be placing them into map packs for anyone UNLESS you have the mappers permission.
  12. they are sunken tree. as of right now i have many 3dmax objects to export but i have max8 not 7 so i am hopeing a export plugin of 8 will be coming or i will have to get max 7 to export them.
  13. thanks alot thanks thats great to hear. I guess i will say this now i am working on a village map know kind of the same as the org village map but with some changes here and there i will have some ss as soon as i can
  14. when i make a map i always do a few things 1. i come up with what type of map i want, be it urban, industrial or what ever 2. I think of what kind of props i need and which set has the most props for my idea (city, indust. historic. ghetto) 3 i lay my idea on paper in crude drawings with all my buildings layed out in the area i want them. 4. i make my map 5 sometime or i should say most of the time you have to tweak your design. no matter how much you think about it something even little things will make you change something in your design. hope that helps thats what i do when i make a map for any game.

  19. Outpost is now released!!! Hope you all enjoy it. The outpost is a TDM map with a us base in the middle surrounded by hundreds of trees and bushes us team spawns in the base and mex team spawns in the south woods. (Note. during testing there was no lag or lose of framerates due to all the trees and bushes) This map will also be released sometime later this summer in the [aces] map pack. New objects and terrain are being made as we speak. Click Here aces secure direct download. i am emailing Rocky to se if he can get this in the download section for me. hope you all enjoy the map
  20. i have sunk about 100 to 200 tree for bushes in my outpost map, no they don't look great because the leaves lack detail up close. but they do work and we have noticed no framerate changes so far in testing. I am a real noob when it comes to 3dsmax but it didn't stop me from buying a student copy and start to learn the ins and outs some of use from aces have started making new ground with green grass and bushes but it taking us sometime to get them right
  21. so far while testing no lag has been noticed and frame rates haven't changed. 100 - 200 bushes and between i would say 200 - 400 trees screw the moles if they can't take a joke LOL yes i used the 4 diffrent shanty trees and placed them at diffrent depths takes alot of time lowering and raising them
  22. i have just placed another 100 to 200 more bushes will be done soon. i am having it tested now and might have it released by the end of the weekend
  23. I have already started adding more bushes the ones that are in were kind of a test to see if it worked and if the looked ok. i also changed the skymap to a greener on best i can do until we finish our new terrain.

We have been testing the our new map OutPost and have taken a few screenshots for you all to see map will be released next week. the map is something like the org.Gr strong Hold with a base in the middle surrounded by hills and trees. we even came up with some bushes made right from the graw editor props. Only issue we are having is with the command map we didn't want a really close spawn for the mex team so it is outside of the muilty border. it doesn't look the best but it does work.
  25. i have been testing the outpost map for the last day and am having one slight problem graw is crashing on the second round everytime i haven't found out why yet. the map runs great on the first round then after it loads for second round server crashes to desktop. if anyone has had this problem and fixed it let me know what to do please. I will have screenshots of the map up soon. the map is zipped and come to about 445kb unzipped it is 3.0megs hotmail should take it. i also tried sending it to the other email but says account not valid please pm me again with you email so i can resend. i have added you to my hotmail acount. my hotmail contact is ghost_hfk@hotmail.com
