There is a small delay when switching from an assault rifle to the sidearm, but close to none when switching to the GL. -
What kind of question is that? So you're telling me that we should pay to get something we should've gotten (Even though I don't really care about online play) stock? Patches are suppose to be free. If they're not, it's EA coming all over again.

Another tip: Turn your visual settings all the way to low, and buy a better video card. (Specifically, 6800 Ultra and up). -
That's a glitch whenever you add decals to a character. Nothing we can do about it at this moment.

I actually like the addition of choosing the aspect ratio. Because of my craptastic 6600 GT (Getting a 7900 GT soon), I'm forced to run the game at 800x600. I also have a widescreen monitor, so I can set the aspect ratio to 16:9. Most games don't have an aspect ratio setting, so I either have to deal with the stretched out image, or force the resolution to a widescreen monitor, and get less FPS. -

^ 1440x900 is a "Wanna-be" widescreen resolution. To be specific, it's 14:9, rather than 16:9. Maybe that's why you're not getting it. Do this. Put the resolution down to 1024x768, and click the aspect ratio to 16:9. Load MP. You should get it now. -

I found the .XML that handles the tracers. I'll edit it for you and test it after I test my "Casings staying forever". Just found the .XML that controls it (FINALLY too). -

There is a way to remove tracers. I remember finding the .XML for it when I was doing a random search a week ago. -

I have it in the decals.xml in the Data -> Effects -> Decals. From what I've seen the e_bullet_hits_high.xml controls the amount of smoke and blood that shoots out whenever a round hits a human body or a building, etc. -

Will you get kicked in MP servers for using the post effects tweak? No. The AC that GRIN incorporated searches for anything in the Local folder.
