  1. I can and I will... -[GR] came out of box with more features then GRAW. Was [GR] rushed? No, they had time. UBI back in 2001 was great. Look at them now. They suck ass. Not only that, but just because "it has the GR name" DOES NOT MEAN THAT YOU SHOULD COMPARE IT TO THE FIRST ONE. A good example of this is Deus Ex: Inivisible War. Many of the PC gamers that I know compared IW to the original, and that's what got everyone ###### off about it, because it had the Deus Ex name. The game was actually damn good on it's own.
  2. The New Barret can take out a target from two miles away.
  3. 22 people? Could the patch be coming out on Wednesday? Hmm.
  4. As if SAI wasn't good enough. This is just going to be badass.
  5. I run the game fine on 1280x960 with it maxed out on a 7900 GT KO, which only ran me $270.
  6. DoD: S is more visual based than sound. For example, whenever you see something smoking, you run. Don't question it. It's a frag.
  7. SP is the main area I focus in always in a game. GRAW's SP is fine, we just need a map maker for it.
  8. Since when? We're getting TWO new MP modes, when most of the MP folks only screamed for TDM. They're getting HH as well. Just give the god damn game some time and stop being an impatient person. Wait.
  9. The KOs are already factory overclocked. Why should I overclock it even more?
  10. Condemned was presented in widescreen, so it naturally had black bars in any 4:3 resolution you pick. Also, you can find Widescreen solutions at: http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/wiki/...title=Main_Page
  11. Yeah, it does. I just installed Condemned, and I have all of the eye candy running (Except for Fullscreen FX, I hate ALL post-effects.) with soft shadows on 1600x900 (My native res doesn't get rid of the black bars. ) I have yet to find my match for my 7900 GT. The monitor is sweet.... if you have a great card to go with it. My 6600 GT was dying whenever I tried running HL2 on 1680x1050.
  12. I bet people are wondering what my full rig is. This is it: Dell Dimension 9150 (AKA the XPS 400) Pentium D 820 2.8 GHz 800 MHz FSB 2 GB PC2-4200 DDR2 eVGA Geforce 7900 GT KO 256 MB GDDR3 Maxtor 150 GB S-ATA Maxtor 250 GB S-ATA Creative Labs Sound Blaster Live! 24-bit ViewSonic VX2025WM 20" widescreen LCD Logitech X-530 5.1 speakers
  13. Average of 40 while in single-player. Varies on MP, but it's around the same.
  14. I'm just using good ol' Print Screen and pasting them into Paint.
  15. Here's another shot. You also need to see GRAW running on my monitor to actually see what detail I'm seeing, which is the ViewSonix VX2025WM 20" widescreen monitor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16824116381
  16. Correct. Auto detection in every other game gave me maxed out details. CoD2 gives me Extra Texture settings by default. Still get around 50 FPS with it running on all maxed out settings (I never use AA if it's above 1280x1024, the jaggies are too small to see) on 1680x1050.
  17. I got my 7900 GT KO yesterday. The performance and detail ratio in GRAW is more than words can describe. I'm now running the game on 1280x960, with most of the textures on high (Weapons, Characters, decals, and Props are on high. Everything else is medium. All of the textures are Managed, because I have 2 gigs of RAM.) That's just awe-inspiring. This is my rig I'm using now: Pentium D 2.8 GHz 800 MHz FSB 2 GB PC2-4200 DDR2 eVGA Geforce 7900 GT KO Older rig: Pentium 4 3.06 GHz 533 MHz FSB 1 GB PC-3200 DDR eVGA Geforce 6600 GT On my older rig, I had to run GRAW
  18. I played the Lockdown demo last night. There is no way in Hell that GRAW is along the likes of Lockdown. How the hell can you even give the R6 name to Lockdown to that hunk of ######? They turned a slow-paced, "Check the corners" tactical FPS into a fast-paced, spray and spray FPS. That's not R6.
  19. Here's my slight play today on GRAW with my new 7900 GT: At 1280x960, this game runs AMAZING. Post-effects on High, Shadows on High, and Textures on medium make this run silky smooth. Can't even imagine how fast it'll run with my renderer_settings.XML tweaks.
  20. Old rig: P4 3.06 GHz 533 MHz FSB 1 GB PC-3200 DDR eVGA Geforce 6600 GT AGP New rig: Pentium D 2.8 GHz 800 MHz FSB 2 GB PC2-4200 DDR2 eVGA Geforce 7900 GT KO The 7900 GT came an hour ago. I installed it with no hitches glitches, and everything works fine. It also came with a free copy of Blood Money. Just a little bonus for me. It runs DoD: S at an average of 45 FPS on 1680x1050 with max settings, HDR, and 2x AA. Just finished installing GRAW. Pics (Slightly blurry, I was in a rush to get this thing running): And if you'll excuse me, time to instal
  21. I just got onto my Pentium D machine, anticipating the arrival of my 7900 GT tommorow. Can't wait to see the performance gain over my old 6600 GT. Also, having a fresh install of XP feels really nice.
  22. NOTICE: Tommorow I'm getting my new PC, which is a: Pentium D 2.8 GHz 2 GB PC-???? DDR2 ("Ill find out when I get it.) eVGA Geforce 7900 GT KO So, I'm not going to be sending out any more betas, because I already have the beta of v2.0 backed up, and I don't want to burn an entire DVD again (I backed up the Quick.bundle for easy access) just to update it. On Thursday, I will be sending the beta requests out.
