  1. Oops, you're right. I had to start the game up, but I realized how you change it. What you do is when you click the create server button and select Campaign Coop you can scroll the server options menu down at the very bottom. It's not very intuitive (but not much of GRAW or GRAW 2s interface is), but it's there.

I've played that sodding game so many times and I have NEVER seen that scroll bar.

Thanks very much for the info.

  2. I mean try clicking on the options tab at the bottom at the screen that shows you a list of available servers and change it there. Then go back to the screen and host a game.

I might just be being a tool, but I've just run the game again and there is no "options" button in my server list. I'm clicking multiplayer on the main menu, letting it log me in, then it generates the server list. On that screen there's just "create server", "update server list", (something else, can't remember but not options), and "back". Pressing ESC just dumps me back to the main menu.

  3. Strange. Did you try setting it to Hardcore while looking a the server list and see if that makes a difference rather than doing it from the main menu?

I've just started the game to check. The only point I can change level is on the main menu. In the server list, pressing ESC just drops me back to the main menu rather than the options screen.

If I create (or join) a server, there is an options button in the game lobby/weapon screen, but the difficulty level is greyed out here.

My mate has told me that I may not have been clear in my previous post; I'm trying to do all this in Campaign Server mode (LAN and internet).

    Any thoughts?

I'll have a look at these snakepit maps as well, if they're a bit more challenging.

  4. If you are talking about Campaign Coop, then it is set to whatever the host has it set to for single player. If you are talking about Coop (formerly known as [GR] Coop in GRAW 1) then the host sets the difficulty towards the bottom of the options menu.

Well I've tried setting the difficulty to hardcore before I select "Multiplayer" but once I'm in the ready lobby the difficulty reverts back to "Normal" and is greyed out.

I have played the first mission through on Hardcore (with no AI ghosts) so I have Hardcore-level saves on my profile, but this doesn't seem to help.

    Any further ideas?

  5. As per the thread title really:

Me and my mate have played thorugh GRAW2 MP Co-op (it's really the only MP variant we enjoy playing) on Normal mode, but can't work out how to change the difficulty level. I know in SP that it is in the Options menu, but the selection is grayed out in MP. I have played thorugh the first couple of levels on Hardcore and then tried hosting a game to see if it is an "unlocking" issue, but it doesn't seem to help.

Am I just being a tool here, or can't it be done?

    Thanks in advance.
