Greetings gentlemen ... not sure if anyone is willing to try this program, but a few of us who fly helicopter sims use HAMACHI ( http://www.hamachi.cc ). It fools your computer and games into thinking your on a LAN. We've had some good results with some of our games that seem to have ######-poor MP capabilities. Just my 2-cents ... And I thought I was having issues with this game ... ... I have to switch mouse devices to play, but it's a small price to pay. I'm still using the original version of the game ... *smile* *fading into the background* .

Well ... I broke-down and bought a Mouse w/ a wheel .... switch it out with the Track-Ball to play GR:AW ... I hate mouses BTW. Long-and-the-short ... I still had issues with not being able to use the Cross-Comm ... so I was stuck at VIP-2 mission. Did a little research here and found a thread that WORKED ! ! ! ------------------------------ solution to the problem ... changed the values of "hud_select" to the following : In the Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter\Settings\ctrl_set_def.xml version - 1.06: <button id="hud_select" binding="2" device="mouse" group="interface"/> version - 1.10: <button id="hud_select" binding="2" device="mouse" group="interface"/> ----------------------------- No reinstall needed. Not saying it'll work for everyone, but it did for me. Thanx to the guys who posted this ... .

Howdy Folks ... I'm new here and have done a short search for ppl who might be using a trackball to play GR:AW. I've seen posts about mousewheels, which I don't have. Long-and-the-short-of-it ... I can scroll through wach squad members commands, but I can't figure out how to make them "execute" in first person. I have to go to the map to issue cover and attack orders. Pain in the butt. Any help is sure appreciated. .
