[EXE ERROR! CAN'T START! HELP!!!]

I'm not sure about frames, but he runs them at 800x600 resolution and seems to do fine. I talkin him into getting a video card. Prolly a Geforce 3 ti200 or geforce4 mx440. Something along those lines. I will repost when/if he gets the new card. Others please post if u have any information reguarding this issue.

I understand that he doesn't meet the requirements on the video card, but with these other two games it is the same senerio and no errors...

Ok, are u sure this will fix? I would hate for him to go out and spend $100 and not fix anything. I am still just a little skeptical on wether this is the problem. I have never had an exe error caused by a grfx issue. Can u give me any information to support why u think this is the problem?

Ok, talked to my buddy today. I was a little surprised at his dxdiag.

I couldn't beleive he only has that grfx memory. He has been able to play games like Operation Flashpoint and Warcraft 3 just fine with this. O well, thats onboard video for ya. I assume that is the problem. Please confirm.

Yes, we have removed all the registry stuff and reinstalled. I dont think it is a grfx issue either. Something is just being stubborn....

Well, im not sure. It is an Intel motherboard and its prolly nothing fancy. He runs Warcraft 3 and Operation Flashpoint really good so its decent.

Well, my friend just got this game and we are having the hardest time getting it to install on his computer. This is the error...

The first couple times of installing, we would get the error right at 99% done. After viewing several forums, we tried many things...dx v9.0, manual uninstall, etc. We finally decided to install it in his cdrw drive, and believe it or not, it worked...or so we thought. We tried to start the program and got the same error. <sigh> We are dumbfounded. Some one help please...

Windows ME

Intel celeron 800mghz

384 mb ram

On board sound and video
