Just making all the mission maps be able to play all the MP games including CoOp would go a long way towards improving play. But I am sure it will come either via a modder or from Grin.

I had what may be the same problem. The Blackhawk marker was in the yard by the 2.5 ton truck when its really inside the garage. If that is maybe your setup try placing the C4 on the stuff in the garage and you will get your next waypoint. (Assuming you already tried to put the C4 on the truck?)

GRAW2: Anti Cheat is needed ASAP
Fletch replied to WD[13th]B071LD3's topic in GR:AW 2 (PC) - General Discussion
I want a better anti-cheat system but from what I have seen Punkbuster is not it for Me. I absolutely hate programs that load when not playing games and stay loaed after terminating the game. I downloaded the Quakewars Demo and it comes with Punkbuster. The damn program would load on boot up and stay running. I got enough stuff running in the back ground already I don't need a program loading up when its not even needed. I deleted the demo off the system and Punkbuster remained, I had to use Hijack this followed by CCleaner to get rid of it. If they fix it so it loads up when you -
Yep, the longer you take the more time they have to move forward. I got caught like you about a dozen times on that map.

Lan Coop Campaign offline possible or not ?
Fletch replied to LMUK's topic in GR:AW 2 (PC) - General Discussion
Are you using a null cable or a Lan Hub? Check out this site on Lan Parties. http://www.onepc.net/index.php?view=docs&a...amp;printable=1 -
Lan Coop Campaign offline possible or not ?
Fletch replied to LMUK's topic in GR:AW 2 (PC) - General Discussion
Hamachi means you are connected to the internet. He is trying to set up a local lan where all the machines are in the same room. Wrong, Sorry my mistake I was using the company info for what Hamachi is and did not see the option of using it offline, since you have used it off line you would know better. -
Kit restrictions or not? [for TRR mod]
Fletch replied to Lightspeed's topic in GR:AW 2 - General Modding Topics
I am all for restrictions in Multiplayer but not in CoOp, but even your restrictions would be better than what I see now. -

I've been retired too long, Is there really something out now for the future warrior project that can do this? If so Yes to tagging, if not NO.

Sorry maybe its me But I don't think you understand CoOp play the way its meant to be played. What I and other CoOp players are talking about is a Team based game play where you enter your team in to CoOp tournments the Tourney leaders set up the maps and ROE and the team leaders then set up their teams based on the orders given to them by the tourney leaders. The team leader sets up each team and tells them what weapons to pick based on the mission, and they practice as a team all the time. The players don't really have a choice except on open servers. You seem to be focused on Open

For me GRAW2 just doesn't have that lasting appeal
Fletch replied to Kakanater's topic in GR:AW 2 (PC) - General Discussion
Now that the game has shown the ability for Users to make Mods and maps I think this game has a good future. Sure there are some things that people (I) don't like but thats the same with everything, you can't please them all. -
The GREATEST GRAW2PC player EVER has arrived!

Congradulations to you and the Mrs on the birth of your daughter. May you have many year of joy before she starts dating. Dang now you have to start a college fund and a marriage fund, shoulda had a boy. Yep the dogs don't look too happy at this intrusion in to their home, but they'll get over it. -
For Multi-Player even though I would want no restrictions I can see the advantages of doing that. However for CoOp play there should be no restrictions other than what the team leader sets up or the tourneys decide to do.

Thanks Papa, I got it and will read it later.

Please forgive me but, i've come to this conclusion

I'm am sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. My condolences to you her friends and her family. Phil -
No, I am retired now but I was a USAF Police/EST (SWAT/Sniper) and while that is a huge gap to the SF guys we did pride ourselves on being the best we could be with what we had available. Eventually I ended up in charge of the 2 teams we had and led the mission planning, (all sat in during the planning and were allowed to give input). 100% Agree

GR is unfortunately dead and gone but this game is pretty close and lots of fun. I don't like the way some things are done but like the majority of it, so it's not GR but it is worth buying and playing. Plus the modders now have the tools to make maps and missions and will soon be putting out new MP maps/missions and extending the life of the game.

The original Ghost Recon with Diesel
Fletch replied to Kakanater's topic in GR:AW 2 (PC) - General Discussion
Might be some legal issues with re-making the complete game. But it would be very nice to at least have the GR maps in GR:AW as an add on with updated story line. -
For the most part I agree the AI sits and waits but I have sat and watched them patrol in maps like Quarry (CoOp) in some areas just not as much as some might like to see. I do remember that in [GR] if you shot at the AI all the Tangos in that group would hunt you down.

What was your favorite load out from GRAW1?
Fletch replied to FI_FlimFlam's topic in GR:AW 2 (PC) - General Discussion
In GR:AW (1) since the AI was not dependable I either took a M99 and a backup carbine and hand grenades when I did a sniper, or I took a SCAR H with scope, silencer and extra ammo, I perfered the HG's over a GL. If I had to take a Zeus then I would lower the SCAR to an "L" with scope and picked up extra ammo as I went. -
Whats The Future Of GRAW2
Fletch replied to |ES|Phoenix's topic in GR:AW 2 (PC) - General Discussion
Playing on Hardcore the AI is un-real in its shooting ability. I can be prone hinding in brush or using a silenced rifle and some sort of concealment have two tango's at 150 and both facing away from me using unscoped G36's and I take out one and before you can say boo the other turns and kills you. So just what do you mean by more aggressive? If you mean more realistic, in that the AI 50 meters away does not ignore when their buddy has just been shot and moves to protect themselves then to flush out the threat that would be very challenging, as long as they also were not better shots than -
Whats The Future Of GRAW2
Fletch replied to |ES|Phoenix's topic in GR:AW 2 (PC) - General Discussion
Whats The Future Of GRAW2? It's now officially dead as far as I am concerned. I can't convince the other 40+ members of the team to buy it because they like me don't like the way CoOp was done in this game. I enjoyed the SP and feeel I got my moneys worth just from that but with the (very minor) complaints we have with CoOp it's no fun playing it at that level. -
I'm really disappointed in some of the responses here, who think the game or mission has to be played their way or take the highway jack. CoOp has imo been about letting the players have fun in taking on the maps and missions in what ever fashion they wanted to. Whether that be loading up like a real SF team and using the proper weapons loads and no respawn, to taking on all the tangos with a pistol pistols only. Which in the case of the tanks would mean for the people who want the ultimate challenge to take only the C4 to blow the tanks to having the Zeus available to those who would r

To me if they want to use the kit selections they need to do a revamp of them so that each weapon (Primary) has all the options. Good Example is the sniper of all the weapons available they only get 6 kits total and 3 primary choices, 2x's the M14 both with no silencer, 2x's the MSG90 one of which has a silencer, and 2x's the M99 which does not ever get a silencer so for silent situations you would think they would get a silenced secondary weapon. Nope wrong again. Then if they ever get themselves in to a situation where a grenade or two would help keep them alive or maybe smoke to
