Thanks Kimi. I really think there is going to be a surge of players once the maps are released. BTW, what ever happened to the gun pack? And will they ever be useable in MP?

Does the holdup have anything to do with a 3 map release for Halo3 and M$ not wanting competition for it's "baby"? I would think 9 maps for 800pts would put a damper on three at the same cost. IMO M$ screwed Ubi and all of the GR fans by killing this release. We first heard Nov. Then the rumors circulated each week after that time. Here we are, almost 3 weeks into December, and no info can be given. It's a sad time for all of the people who have backed the series. I have played GR since it's first release on xbox. I look forward to the map releases to keep the game fresh and enjoyable with a large community of fans. But we have been disappointed all to often with a lack of correct information. Set the record straight.

Yeah except that there are too many Team Sharpshooter infinite respawn run-and-gun rooms. Those roms move to fast to make even the tac-map worthwhile. Siege is the way to play.

The CC works well in squad matches. If a teammate gets wounded you can direct him/her to look a certain way to leave a good camera view to warn of incoming threats.

What do you mean "not much much multiplayer?" Where have you been? We play nightly matches on dccombat.com as well as open rooms. Sure we take breaks for HALO, COD4, Assassin's Creed, etc... but we always get on for graw and the community is huge! I've heard the weapon pack will be free (BUT WHY WON'T IT BE AVAILABLE IN MP... or will it?) but only rumors for the map pack. Any info is very appreciated. Thanks again.

I checked last night. No update with the GRAW2 disc in and couldn't find anything on the marketplace.

That is what I've been hearing and eagerly awaiting. Demo should be out soon. BTW, I did play S&D on the beta and it still fealt like Halo to me. It could have been because of the players in the room, but with the perks and airstrikes, and jumping... sorry, I'll play Halo when I want this type of gameplay. Here's to hoping that AA does it right and GR goes back to its roots.

I played the COD4 beta and IMO it is Halo with 21st century weapons. It is fun, but it is strictly run and gun. I'm with Max419. I've been having fun on H3 but always go back to GR. This map pack will breath new life into the game. And I'm eagerly awaiting a demo for AA.

As more games are sold and played online I bet they can charge more to get an ad placed in game for a certain time period. More players, more potential views. More revenue. They should offer free add ons like maps and weapons to keep gamers happy and then get their revenue from outside sources. Works for me.

I have it and really do like it. Just picked up the NIN live show which I attended last year and the picture and sound is astonishing to say the least. Not too worried about blockbuster. We'll see what Netflicks says. Also, porn will not be supported by Sony...ie bluray...so in the long run HD will go all the way. I've heard the argument that Disney backs BR and parents buy kids movies... but parents watch porn too
