OK so I contemplating whether to buy Ghost recon or not. Is this a good idea seeing as GRAW is out and wil [GR] last any longer. NOw if I do buy it where would I find the patches nd other add-ons. Please help your advice could determine whether I spend whatever the game costs.

no cause u tried to join a lower version in the morning but it kicked me before I even loaded

I know this post shouldn't go here but I am to frustrated to think. I downloaded the patch and everything worked fine in deathmatch and COOP but a half hour ago I decide to play some domination and I get into the game and a minute later I get kicked saying my files don't match the server files. SO then I reinstall and patch again and join and it still kicks me. Can someone please tell me if they have mods or if SOmething is wrong on my end. I hate when things aren't working cause I think I might be a perfectionist.

So now that the map editor is out when will I or anyone see the maps coming out. I know it takes time to get everything right but anyone know of any dates that maps will be coming out on. Can't wait to play on one. Might just create a map myself.........

So in COOP when playing Contact and I get to the point where you have to get out of the Heli I am dropped off on top of a building therefore falling through it and being stcuk and the mission faieling no idea how to post screenies but it happened twice with 7 different people. Please look into this GRIN or someone else.

Where do I go to open the editor is it in the game or outside. Plz help

Right on, MP in this game can get frustrating especially for someone like me who plays BF2 and is used to having a couple yards between me and the enemy. Guess that's my fault. On the crosshair thing with the resolution lower the crosshair is bigger and that ticks me off.

Either there crazy Microsoft Fans who can't stand to see the Xbox 360 lose to the PS3 as is what happened with PS2 and Xbox. Therefore they are afraid of the PS3 and are trying to dampen Sony fans spirits. Its all a conspiracy and Bill Gates is on top of it even though he left Microsoft. Or its that the Xbox 360 came out first and they just assume they will have beeter Sales and beat the PS3 like what happened with the PS2 and Xbox

quite a few people I've seen rant on about how this game is too arcady or that game's not at all arcady. This is not just directed at GRAW other games too. So Im here to ask anyone what how to they classify whether a game is arcady or real. Are there examples if so list and describe> I don't understand what makes a game arcady than more than 5 buulets hitting you and living is not very real.

I 'v decided that i want to start modding for GRAW and I have got the extractor but I don't know how to run any mod without it taking forever to load. I read somewhere on the forum a bypass to do this but could not understand what it said. Can someone please tell me how to do this. Also once the editors come out will everyone still be using the XML's to mod ro use the editors. [Thread moved to correct forum (& retitled)]

I'll take this post seriously when the AI can learn to FOLLOW. The follow order tells the Ai to strategically follow taking cover and staying apart not just follow in a line.

It can be done using the localization path.. If you install the game with italian for istance, it will create a "local" folder in the same root path of the game folder with localized files wich have priority access over the ones in the bundle. So, if you set the game language to "mods" in context.xml and create the folder "Mods" in c:\graw\local\ (eg path) you'll be able to run a mod just putting the modded files with the right path in this directory I'm running a uniform mod and a nointro mod and it works! You can also run different mods just setting the proper name in the context.x

MAybe the Gunners are just for show and noise. The hot landing in VIP 2 is Down is probably supposed to take place for the challege. As to improving them I have no clue

Yeah if you take a certain route I think eastern then you can bypass the tank entirely and get to the building with minimal resistance. I played it on normal and never met the tank and then played the mission on coop and when we got there the tank killed me and I was like what the crap.

I usually move my team and me at once simultaneously giving each one an order which usually consists of simply moving then covering. And one AI usually Brown goes otu farther and I move with him just in case everything heats up. I can't bring myself to let them do all the work i'm afraid they'll die so i go in. I never equip sniper for anyone but always have a heavy machine gunner who is always Allen. In terms of AI Kirkland dies if given any risky orders. Brown is the best cause he follows orders even if he screams. Allen is well rounded. Its weird though All
